BAKUGO STARED AT HIS CEILING, his gaze unflinching in the pitch black room. The tiniest gleam of moonlight shone through his curtains, barely illuminating the room. He looked around restlessly, his eyes sharp on anything they land on.
He squinted as he eyed the chair at his desk, the object suddenly resembling a person. Bakugo shook it off, clearing his throat and shutting his eyes tightly, trying to force himself into slumber.
Unexpectedly, his phone starts blaring with text notifications, the ringing non-stop due to the spam. He startled, grumbling. Despite his angry manner, he was low-key relieved to have a distraction.
