"Hey, Kleiner. Wie heißen Sie?" (Hey, shorty. What's your name?) Lady Sullivan turned to face the young lord as you all walked up to the medieval castle surrounded by torture devices from the witch hunts. How gruesome.

You nearly snorted, it's normally you and Sebastian prodding the young lord and joking about his height. For someone else to do it was pure gold, and the fact that he didn't understand made it even funnier.

"Why do I have the feeling she said something offensive?"

"She asked you for your name," you bent down and translated.

"Oh, it's Ciel Phantomhive."

"How old are you?"

"He's thirteen," Sebastian said going up the first few steps of the manor. He turned around to address the rest of you, "All of you wait downstairs. Understood?"

~

Agh, head maid or not you don't know the way around someone else's manor, especially with the way this village reacts to every wrong breath you take. Tanaka took charge and made his way inside. You walked down a cold hallway; it was lit with wrought iron candelabras built into the stone walls. A faint horrid smell of a few low-burning tallow candles lingered in the air; you made your way to a common room where a few of the villagers were eyeing the lot of you. Hilde the overly aggressive villager from before showed you and Mey-rin to your separate rooms. After settling in you all went upstairs to the kitchen.

Wolfram was measuring ingredients while Sebastian rolled his sleeves up.

"Can we help with anything?" Bard asked.

"No it's fine," he answered rather quickly. "We've had a long trip I'm sure you're tired. Don't worry and don't do anything unneeded. I'll bring your dinner when we've finished."

"Ooh, you're so kind Mr. Sebastian," Mey-rin said as they left but you stayed and sat on a stool next to him wanting to be in his company.

"Go on upstairs and keep an eye on them."

"But Tanaka is with them, and I wanna see what you're making," you pouted. Sebastian stared at you sideways while he kneaded the dough.

"Pleaseeeeee?"

"Alright alright. You're unnaturally clingy tonight," he furrowed his eyebrows at you and looked down at what he was doing.

Ouch

Okay, unexpected for him to call out your way of showing affection. You began to internally shut down trying to distance yourself from being a nuisance. Tears surfaced but you refused to cry.

"Wh- no not the crying my dear not tonight," he said, his eyes widening, "What did I say?"

You shook your head remembering what he always said; If you weren't pregnant you wouldn't be that emotional. Which is true, so keeping quiet until it passed was what you did, you sniffed holding your tears back. The poor demon kissed your forehead and continued cooking, visibly annoyed but not with you. Wolfram managed to be working diligently but not to Sebastian's liking, he was slow but to give him some credit, he was trying to be accurate. Handling too many things in the kitchen can go disastrous in such a short time.

"Are you sure you don't want help?"

"So you could cry in the food?" he playfully glared at you.

"My exact intentions!" you giggled and he smiled.

"Mm it tastes so good what was it?"

"You ate without knowing?" Sebastian asked as he put the dishes in the sink.
