Kim Minju's POV

I'm currently on my phone chatting with Nako and Hitomi in our group chat.

It's just three of us because Yuri is somehow not replying.

Maybe she's busy.

I was interrupted by a knock on my door.

"Miss Minju, food is ready." Our maid, Mrs. Park said.

I went out of my room, walked to the kitchen but stopped mid-way when I heard my Dad talking to someone on the phone.

His door is slightly opened.

Curiosity filled me, so I peeked through the door.

"I told you. We have to find her!" He said, almost shouting at the other line.

He's massaging his temples.

"It's been years and you still haven't found her." He said. He looked so frustrated.

Who's her?

I pretended I didn't hear anything and just went down the stairs.

I sat at the dining table with no one else but me.

A sudden feeling of loneliness attacked me.

There is nothing wrong with being alone but feeling loneliness is just too much.

In this HUGE mansion, I've spent most of the time alone.

It was always just me and myself.

I'm rich— no, my parents are rich but all this money can't fill the gap I'm feeling.

The longing I've been feeling— longing for the love and attention of my parents.

My Dad is always busy.

My Mom... she's in the States.

I continued to eat my dinner and went back to my room.

Kim Woojin... that dirtbag has to pay for what he's done.

I typed in Yuri's number and called her.

"hmm hello?" She answered the call with her husky voice.

Looks like I woke her up.

"Hey, Yul... Were you sleeping?." I said.

"Hmm yeah." She replied

"Oh... sorry," I said.

"It's nothing. Why did you call me?" She asked me.

"Ah right... about what happened to you a few days ago.." I said, trying to sound as careful as possible.

I know she's sensitive to these types of things.

"What about that?" She answered.

"I was thinking that you should report that Woojin boy to the principal and call a violence committee. He should get what he deserves." I said.

He has to get what he deserves.

No one should get away after doing something wrong.

Even if that someone is a powerful person

If you did something wrong it's only natural for you to be responsible for it.

"I d-don't know... He might come at me... I'm s-scared, Minju..." she said while stuttering, i could barely hear her voice.
