In the following weeks Izuku and Kage grew closer, the now seven year old never told Kage about the bullying but Izuku knew that he suspected something, as Izuku always seemed to have an injury of some sort. Kage, of course was concerned for the boy who lived in a dump.
"Hey Izuku." Kage said one Friday while they were cleaning the beach.
"Yeah, Kage?"
"Call me Haru, and do you want to live with me? The dump's nice and all but.. it probably be better if you live in a real building and not just an old van."
"W-what? Y-you want me to live with you?"
"Yeah, I have space an-"
"I'd love to."
"You would?"
"Yep as long as it isn't too far away from school."
"It's no farther that the beach is, though the neighborhood is a bit rough, so I might have to teach you some self defense.."
"Really! Self defense!"
"Yep, I could teach you some other stuff too if you want to become a hero.."
"REALLY! You'd train me!"
"Well if you want me too, you'd just have to promise not to use your training till you get into a hero school, or if it's an emergency."
"I promise!"
"Great then let's finish picking up then we can start moving your things over."
