"How could you."

Izuku ran straight at the heroes, not caring that they were bound to be stronger than him or that he could barely move his burned arm without screaming in agony, he wanted-no needed- revenge. Ignoring a suffering child for years is one thing but this went to far. They couldn't just kill his only family left and get away with it. Haru had never did anything to them. In fact Haru had helped them, taking down villains when the pro heroes couldn't.

They had no right to kill him.

Izuku drew out his katanas as he ran. He jumped off the top of the building, landing on top of Endeavor. The force of Izuku's jump pushed Endeavor down, where the flame hero collided with the pavement. By now the other two heroes were out of their daze. Eraserhead reached out towards Izuku with his capture device. Izuku evaded the white strands, while kicking Endeavor in the side of the head.

Midnight couldn't use her quirk in close proximity so she wasn't much of a threat and Eraserhead had exhausted his quirk earlier so Izuku only had to worry about his capture device. And Endeavor was passed out on the concrete, though he was bound to wake up soon which meant that Izuku had to leave, now.

Izuku dodged Eraserheads attacks then abruptly jumped up to the rooftops. He pulled out a few throwing knives and hit the fabric of the capture device, pinning it to the wall. Then he reached his hand into his pouch and pulled out an emergency smoke bomb. Izuku looked over at the body of mentor and sighed. 'Sorry Haru looks like I can't take you with me..' Izuku pressed the trigger and threw it in the pro heroes direction.

Izuku took one last look at Haru before the smoke clouded the area. Izuku sped away, ignoring the pain in his body and mind, focusing on surviving. He took an indirect route back to the warehouse just in case the heroes managed to follow him. Izuku jumps off the rooftop and into his room's window. He silently took his gear off and wrapped up his injuries, his mind blank.

"He can't be dead.. he can't." Izuku murmured. "But he is.. and it's my fault.. he took death for me.. he could have saved himself.. but he didn't, he saved me, if it wasn't for me he might be alive now."

"I'm sorry, kid looks like you'll have to go on without m-me. Look in m-my room y-you'll find w-what you n-need."

"G-good bye, Iz-Izuku."

Haru's last words haunted him, he could hardly bare it so he did what Haru had asked and went to look in the vigilantes old room, tears running down his freckled face. Izuku opened the door to the room. The room itself was pretty ordinary looking but it held an air of emptiness as if it knew that Haru would never sleep in here again.

Izuku glanced around the room, searching for anything out of place or significant. 'Haru said that I would find what I need, what do I need.' The dresser at the side of the bed snagged his attention. Izuku walked over to the dresser and pulled open the first drawer. Izuku felt around the interior of the drawer, his hand found a piece of paper.

Dear Izuku,

If you're reading this then I'm probably dead, I just want you to know that it wasn't your fault. Whatever happened wasn't your fault,  I'm sorry for leaving you alone, but you're strong, you're independent, you can survive. Don't give up your dream, you can be a hero, Izuku. If you ever need assistance check the closet, I have a list of contacts and information in there that could be helpful in the future. Goodbye and good luck, Izuku.

~Haru

"Don't worry, Haru. I will survive and I will become a hero." Izuku aggressively wiped the tears from his eyes. "I will change the heroes image, I will be a true hero like you, Haru."
