Maya's POV:
"Hey Jack" Maya said as she walked into her house greeting the man before going to see the twins, "my gorgeous boy" Maya gushed softly squeezing her sons cheek and then moving so she could squeeze her daughters. "Mommy?" She heard a small voice ask obviously not knowing the blonde had come home. "Hi sweetheart" Maya said seeing her daughter at the door clutching onto a teddy, "how are you sweetie?" Maya asked knowing she hadn't been able to see her daughter as much as she wanted to due to Jamie basically living at the hospital now.
"I miss you" she heard her say making her eyes tear away from the twins and back down to her daughter, "I know sweetheart I'm sorry" she said leaning down to pick up the blonde resting her on her hip, "what do you say we go see your big brother?" She asked trying to get her involved. "Hospitals yucky" she said scrunching her face up in disgust "your brother would really like to see you" she added watching as she un-scrunched her face relaxing it into a frown and then a smile "let's go!" She exclaimed gesturing for Maya to set her down so she could pull her hand leading her back out of their house.
Both POV:
"Woah slow down" maya said laughing at her daughters enthusiasm. They arrived at the hospital in record time, maya lead Lexie up to Jamie's room lifting her up so she could knock on the door. "Come in Bella" she heard Carina say using her free hand to open the door.
"Lexie!" Jamie exclaimed watching as his sister ran over to the bed struggling to get up. "Here" maya said before lifting her daughter up so she could sit with her brother, "be gentle" Carina said knowing Jamie was very fragile.
Jamie and Lexie sat there for a while the blonde nuzzled into the boys side, Maya took that as her opportunity to take a photo of the too. "Uncle Andrew will be here in a little while to pick you up Lexie" Carina informed watching her face drop, "no momma me stay" she whined pouting her bottom lip, "sweetheart you have to go home you have school tomorrow" Maya said helping the brunette out. "But I always go home" she said starting to let her tears slip down her cheeks, "Bambina" Carina said leaning over to her daughter so she could wipe away her tears, "I know this is hard on you Bella, but you're brother is really sick... we will be here a lot more and I know it's tough but we will always love you and be here... understand me?" She asked watching as the blonde sniffled her tears away wiping at her eyes to get them to go away. "Mhm" she nodded smiling weakly at her mother, "good girl" maya said also leaning over so she could lift Lexie off of the bed and onto her hip, "say goodbye to your brother" Maya told her leaning down so Lexie could place a kiss to Jamie's head, "bye bye wove you" she said as maya stood up straight as Lexie waved goodbye to Jamie and kissed the brunette goodbye.
Maya's POV:
"Momma no go" Lexie cried tugging on the blondes leg stoping her from leaving their house. Maya looked at jack for help, "hey champ mommy's got to go" Jack said in attempt to help the situation but just making Lexie resist more. "But- but no" she cried sobbing into the blondes leg, this didn't help the blonde in any way, she already felt bad about Lexie being home all the time without them there but she had to be, for Jamie. "Look mommy loves you sweetheart I'll see you tomorrow morning before school" she whispered as she leaned down thhe little girl falling forward into the blondes arms, "pwomise?" She asked removing her head from the blondes neck so she could look at her. "I promise sweetheart and maybe before we could grab some hot chocolate how does that sound?" Maya asked as she placed a kiss to the blondes wet cheek using her thumb to wipe away the tears. "Sounds good" she replied smiling at her mother. "Now mommy's gotta go...be a good girl for uncle Jack ok" she said receiving a nod from the blonde "look after your baby brother and sister they need you" she added receiving another little nod from the girl. "Thanks Jack" maya said watching as Jack leant down to lift Lexie up and place her on his hip, "no problem Bishop" he replied smiling softly at the blonde, "alright say bye to mommy" Jack told the blonde "bye mommy" Lexie replied waving at the blonde before watching her open the door, "mommy loves you sweetheart" Maya said giving her daughter one more kiss before leaving.
Both POV:
"Hey" Maya whispered as she made her way into Jamie's room seeing the brunette sat back in the hospital chair admiring their little boy. "Hi Bella" she replied smiling softly at the blonde "he's so gorgeous isn't he?" Carina asked obviously rhetorically already knowing that Jamie was 100% gorgeous even when he was ill. "Yea he's pretty special" Maya replied shutting the door and then walking the rest of the way into the room, sitting down on the chair next to his bed. "Lexie's finding this hard" Maya said after a few minutes of silence, the two women just watching their son sleep. "I know Bella" Carina sighed "I told her we could get some hot chocolate before school tomorrow" Maya added moving her hand up to Jamie's cheek so she could run her fingers over the soft skin. "That sounds nice" Carina replied as she stood up and made her way over to the blonde,
"I love you Bella" Carina said standing behind the blonde placing her hands on her shoulders softly massaging them. "Right back at you gorgeous"
Maya replied instantly melting under the brunettes touch, it had been a while since they'd been intimate so this felt like relief, taking away all the pain and hurt they'd gone though in the past few months.
