A/N: By request, I figured I should write a part two! I had thought about it after I published part one, considering that it sort of needed some closure, so here it is! You ask and I shall deliver! Also: apologies for the long chapter length! I apparently got a wee bit carried away with this one. But, other than that, enjoy!

It had been some time since the Winter Soldier had rescued you from wherever the Avengers had been holding you hostage.

Enough time for your thoughts and actions to have been otherwise occupied by the difficult task of not breaking down like you had the last time you'd heard his screams...

A shiver dances down your spine, a distant memory of what they sounded like looping around your exhausted brain.

Ever since you'd been rescued, the HYDRA higher-ups had determined that you were unfit for any more recent combat missions, pointing out the obvious that you had allowed yourself to be captured by the enemy.

Luckily, you'd managed to dodge any figurative or literal bullets with that one when they had called you down for questioning and to give your report.

But now, you're stuck here.

In the all-too familiar damp and rather dirty rectangular, windowless room, the rest of the Winter Soldiers lining the walls, their gazes dark.

"Soldier," The man dressed neatly in the standard camouflage uniform barks out, motioning to the only other female other than you in the room. "Step forward."

She does as she's ordered, stepping out and away from the wall, her eyes narrowing on you.

"L/N," He barks again, tone sounding much harsher as you sigh heavily, mentally and physically preparing yourself for the beating you're inevitably going to receive in a matter of seconds. "Step forward."

Nodding stiffly, you also follow his orders, pushing yourself off the wall, trying to muster up any small bit of gusto you have left as you square up, gaze examining your opponent.

She's evidently stronger than you - after all, she does have the serum.

She's faster too, so it's not like you can out maneuver her.

A genuine beating it is, then. Just like old times.

Grimacing, you steel yourself yet again as the ring of a single shot bounces through the grimey room, signaling the sparring match to begin.

Before you can even think about how to evade her first blow, it already lands, hitting you square across the jaw, sending your shocked form reeling, your vision already blurring.

"Seriously?" You snarl, spitting blood from where you'd bit your tongue when the woman in front of you had punched you while she just grins wickedly, charging towards you for another attack.

I can't beat her hand-to-hand.

It's impossible.

I know it.

They know it.

Letting out a strangled cry of pain, you allow your aching figure to go limp as you fly across the room, your opponent chasing after you and pinning you to the floor, fist raised to strike again.

If she hits me across the face again, I'll be out.

A panic swells within you as the world around you almost begins to play in slow motion, her fist inching towards your face.

Thinking fast, you raise your knee, jabbing her abdomen with as much force as you can scrounge up in your worn out state before grabbing a hold of her shoulders and kicking her off and away from you.
