A/N: sorry this took so long to get out to y'all! I was sick last week and have been super busy playing catch up, but here it is! I've got plans for a part 4 in the works, so stay tuned and let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Getting to the airport had been completely nerve-racking to say the least.

By the time you and Shaun had left your apartment behind and managed to hail a taxi, night had fallen and the rain from earlier had continued - becoming even more relentless.

And even now, as you both are attempting to calmly sprint through the airport terminal in Macau, ignoring odd stares from the people you rush by - you can't help but feel on edge.

Regardless of the absolute fatigue and utter agony your shoulder is in, you feel adrenaline chorusing through your veins.

"Where exactly are we going to find that car we talked about earlier?" You mutter, stepping out into the morning sunshine, squinting against the brightness.

Time changes. Gotta love 'em.

"No idea," Your Partner replies, frowning slightly as he turns to face you. "Though I will admit; I may have forgotten about the time difference, which now means we're going to be attempting to steal a car in broad daylight."

Sighing heavily, you step back beneath the overhang of the airport's exit, leaning against the cool cement wall behind you, a hand finding it's way to your injured shoulder which is flaring in pain.

Your fiancé grimaces, his mind seeming to be made up in that very moment, his gaze meeting your hazy one.

"C'mon," He urges softly, extending an arm out towards you, to which you happily take, slinging your own un-injured arm around his neck, your side pressing into his. "Let's just get to the rendezvous spot."

"That sounds like a fantastic idea," You grumble sarcastically, resisting the urge to roll your eyes. "Where do you suggest we start?"

It had taken much longer than either of you had expected to actually manage to nab a car and get it going without making a scene.

Thankfully though, you'd manage to find a small SUV, similar to the one that had carried you to Ta Lo on the last adventure you'd been on.

Though that time you hadn't been shot.

Mumbling something incomprehensible even to you, your dozing, slouching figure sinks deeper into the passenger seat, a likely pathetic sounding whimper falling from your lips.

You can feel your fiancé's heavy gaze resting on you, but no matter how hard you try, your body won't move to meet his eyes.

"How much longer?" You manage to muse, voice hoarse and small, your eyes beginning to blur as the now much more rural scenery rolls past you.

"Too long," Shaun sighs, no doubt shaking his head in aggravation before refocusing on the road, fingers drumming anxiously on the steering wheel. "We can't keep going like this. You're paling awfully quick."

"I'll be fine," You assure falsely, knowing full well by the sudden rush of dizziness engulfing you that you are certainly not fine. "I think I just need to get some shut eye, though..."

The way your last few words must slur before you lose consciousness and your world fades to black, the feeling of your head falling heavy against the headrest barely resonating with you, you almost bet unconsciously that the man at your side has pulled over and is hastily checking up on you.
