As you might have noticed from the chapter title, these next few chapters will be a bit different! We figured to tell this part of the story, we needed each person's point of view. Once we're done things will go back to normal!

Two weeks after I discovered the magic that is milkshakes, Kenric had already taken me about a hundred different places, trying to find out what was bothering me. While the constant prying was a bit annoying, he was really sweet about it. I hadn't stopped blushing for the last forever.

Although, right now, I was flushing a bright red from running through the halls of Foxfire, trying to make it to lunch as fast as I could. My mentor had kept me overtime in a lesson, and I was starving. I could practically taste the gnomish fruit and vegetables, which propelled me even faster.

As it turns out, running in the halls of a school is not the best idea. Even if most everyone is already in the cafeteria, the odds of at least one other person being held back are pretty good. And, of course, the odds just had to be right.

"Oof!" I said as I collided with the green-uniformed blur I hadn't been able to slow down enough not to hit. I looked up to see the familiar face of Tiergan and breathed a sigh of relief. At least it was a friend who was used to my clumsiness.

"Willa!" he exclaimed in surprise. "Were you late getting out of class too?"

"Yeah, Elvin History went long again."

"Well, this is actually sorta good. I need your help with something." he blushed.

"What is it? And can we talk while we walk? I'm so hungry I might pass out before we get to the cafeteria."

He laughed and nodded, turning to walk with me. "So, Foxfire has the Midterm Galla coming up, right? Ellie has sorta been talking about it. More than a little. I think she wants me to ask her to it. I have an idea, but I might need some help."

"Ooooo, so I'll get to be your inside woman?! Find out what she's thinking, keep her distracted while you do your thing, all that stuff?" I grinned, and bounced on my heels a bit. I loved playing spy.

"Yeah, that sort of thing. Are you up for it?"

"Absolutely! Buttttttt.... If we're doing something secret and mischievous, I've become a bit of a package deal. Kenric and I are basically partners in crime at this point, and he'd kill me if I went behind Ellie's back without him."

"Yeah, he can help too. As long as he doesn't tell Ellie." Tiergan agreed.

"Perfect! Now tell me more about the idea..."

This was how Operation Ask Ellie To The Galla was born.
