After waking up and leaving the city, they walk out ready to get on the road again.After a week of camping with nothing much going on until now."Wait why are we going back to Lavender town?"Ash ask."It's pretty much a link between saffron and celadon so we might as well stop by to get some rest."Brock says."But that place give us the heebie-jeebies."Misty says."Besides wit all dose ghost types do you know how scary it is to not be able to use what you're the most good at?"Meowth ask."But don't you have Metal Claw, Thunderbolt, Aerial Ace, Feint Attack, Iron Tail, and Taunt even if it's doesn't attack?"Ash ask."Alright Ima have ta explain dis."Meowth says dragging a Chalkboard out of nowhere."Where'd you get that?"Jessie ask."They had one at the celadon department store."Meowth says."Wait where'd you get the money?"James asks."I may be taking some of your winners cash."Meowth says."No wonder your item pouch is getting so full!"James says."Yeah I'm pretty sure I non legally know snatch."Meowth says."And I'm not even gonna try to understand how we didn't notice a chalkboard."Misty says."We're getting off track.So there's sometin called S.T.A.B or same type attack bonus which multiplies a Pokémon's move's base power by 1.5 which is a fancy way of saying plus half.If the move's the same type as the user in my case Fury Swipes who's base power is 18.Half of 18 is 9.So 9 plus 18 equals 27.My ability is Technician which does the same as s.t.a.b but for moves that have the base power bellow of 61.So 27 times 1.5 equals 40.5.Not only that but Fury Swipes can hit from 2 to 5 time.If I can land five hits then I'd be hitting someone five scratches worth."Meowth says erasing the chalkboard."Any questions?"Meowth asks and no one answers."Good, anyway let me stuff this into your backpack."Meowth says stuffing the chalkboard into Brock's backpack."Wait, how did that fit?!"Misty asks surprised."It's a black hole in here.I tink dere's some demons from da distortion world in... "What's up with dis place?I know this is a ghost town but I can't find see."Meowth says."Yeah."James says and they see a familiar face run by."Conner!"Jessie says remembering him."Hey, you guys need to get out of here!There's some Rocket's in the tower!Caught Blake and a bunch more of us!"He says running but Jessie grabs him by the shoulder."Hey slow down.Looks, we're going to war again!"Jessie says."Well can we at least get some training in."Ash says."One if we were to go to war we'd have to transfer our newest Pokémon.They don't really have enough training yet.Two just because we survived one fight doesn't mean we'll win another."Brock says."Well we can at least call back Matis and tell em."Daisy says."Fine."Ash says picking up his phone calling his step-dad."Ash!How ya doin kid?"The war veteran ask."Good to see you to, but we have a problem."Ash says."What?"The electric type Pokémon trainer ask.          "We're in Lavender Town again but there's some Rockets taking the ex Rockets hostage."Ash says."Not again, well kid you did me a favor cause your mom said if I let you got hurt I'm dead.Anyway I'll be there in a day."The Unovan says hanging up."Well we should heal up and stay outside of the town."Conner, you're gonna have to stay with us.Safety in numbers."Brock says."Might as well."The ex Rocket says.After healing they tell professor oak and he let's them bring back their Pokémon at the lab."You're really getting in to much trouble these days."Professor Oak says transferring over Growlie, Charmeleon, and Misty gets Tentacool back who's recovered.

The group decide to train until dark along with Conner's Zubat, Raticate, and Grimer.

Pikachu learns Thunderpunch via TM and is practicing punching.Pidgeotto learns Feint Attack from Meowth, Butterfree is practicing his psychic abilities by meditating, Marowak learns Bone Rush pretty easily, Squirtle learns Dig, Krabby's practicing Protect, Dratini's practicing Twister and can pull it off, Growlie learns Dig, Carnivine learns Leaf Tornado easily, Meowth learns Shadow Claw only cause he wants something against ghost types, Koffing practices Flamethrower with the help of Growlie but it's like a Flame Burst, Weepinbell learns Toxic, Gyarados learns Twister with the help of Horsea, after a while meditating with Butterfree Mime Jr. learns Meditate, Ekans learns Mud Bomb, Fearow learns Drill Run, Beedrill masters Poison Jab with the help of Ekans, Ditto's practicing transforming, Mankey learns Meditate with Mime Jr. trying to keep his cool, Goldeen's practicing moving on land with Aqua Jet, Staryu's meditating helps her learn meditate, Gyarados masters Aqua Tail, Gloom learns Sludge with the help of Koffing, Horsea learns Dragon Breath pretty easily, Tentacool learns Sludge from Koffing, Eevee masters Swift, Graveler learns Iron Defense, Ryhorn learns Fire Fang, Onix learns Screech, Golbat's training Conner's Zubat, Vulpix with the help of Meowth learns Payback with him being well versed in dark type attacks, Pinsir learns Double Hit, Zubat learns Poison Fang, Raticate learns Crunch, and Grimer learns Minimize.

While sleeping they hear rustling in the bushes catching the two poison flying types attention but as they look they see a cobra like Pokémon leap out hissing.
