Quinn released me from the hug, right as Rachel walked in,
"Hi, Rachel." Rachel walked over and sat down in the front and center chair
"Hi, Lili and Quinn, now if you excuse me, your blocking my spot." I sighed and rolled my eyes, before Quinn grabbed my hand, and lead me to the back left corner. I sat down in a chair and Quinn sat next to me, soon the choir room was filled with excited teens. Mr. Shue grabbed an expo marker,
"Sectionals is in 3 days, what are we thinking for our setlist?" I raised my hand excitedly, Mr. Shue pointed at me, "What are you thinking Lili?"
"Waving Through A Window from DEH." Mr. Shue smiled,
"Perfect! Wanna take the solo, Lili?" I nodded eagerly,
"Sure." I didn't want to seem too modest, Rachel shot her hand up,
"Excuse me for interrupting, but shouldn't one of our guys take the solo since the original is sung by a male performer?" Kurt and I both glared at Rachel,
"Telling me that I cant perform a guy's song, is like telling Kurt that he cant perform a Barbra song." Rachel gasped,
"Don't you DARE bring Barbra into this!" I smiled,
"I can bring whoever I want into this. Besides, you'll just find a way to tear them down." Santana smirked from the corner,
"Yes, Lili, go all Lima Heights on her!" I waved Santana down, then looked back at Rachel,
"So, you going to let me perform a guy's song, or should I go full Lima Heights?" Rachel sighed,
"Fine, perform a guy's song. But you're going to have to find yourselves a new star performer." Rachel grabbed her satchel and stormed out of the choir room, Santana high-fived me as I sat down,
"Couldn't have done it any better myself." I smiled,
"Thanks Tana."
