I went straight from the bathroom to gym class, Coach Sylvester was standing outside the gym doors,

"Lili, my office now." I gulped and walked with Coach Sylvester to her office. She gestured for me to sit in a chair, I sat down and accidentally hit one of the cuts on my chest. I winced in pain, and Coach Sylvester looked at me,

"Are you alright?" I nodded, and she smiled, "Good, now you're probably wondering why I brought you here." I nodded,

"Did I do something wrong?" Coach Sylvester shook her head and laughed,

"Quite the contrary, I may despise the glee club, but I still enjoy some of the songs that they butcher. I was watching you perform, and noticed that you were hurt but pushed through, so I did a little digging." She slid a photo of me in a Carmel High cheer team uniform, and smirked, "I always thought you looked familiar, but it took me seeing this photo to realize that Carmel's best cheerleader had left the coop." I looked at Coach Sylvester,

"I can't do the cheerios, the uniform makes me uncomfortable and reminds me a lot of my trauma." Coach Sylvester nodded,

"I figured you'd say that, which is why, I'd be willing to let you wear the guy's uniform, and I'd be more than happy to help you get a binder and/or cut your hair." I looked down at my hands,

"Coach, I want to do cheer again, it just that the cheer coach at Carmel was awful and I'm still healing from Kelly and...and..." I began stuttering, Coach Slyvester grabbed my hand,

"First off, call me Sue, and second off, I will never force you to do any routine that would hurt you even more or that would make you uncomfortable in any way, okay? I want to help and protect you, Carmel, I do." I nodded,

"Okay." Sue smiled and pulled out a uniform and a binder, I nodded,

"Go put that on, and come right back here when you're done." I nodded, grabbed the uniform, and walked to the bathroom. I locked myself in a stall and changed into the Cheerios uniform. I walked back to Sue's office and sat down in front of her desk. After a few minutes, Sue returned with Becky Jackson,

"Becky meet Carmel, Carmel meet Becky. You two are now my co-captains. Here are your pagers and megaphones." I grabbed the things from Sue, and looked at Becky,

"Hi." Becky didn't bother looking at me, instead complaining to Sue,

"But Coach why can't I be captain by myself?!" Sue smiled,

"Becky this is 4-time nationals winning cheerleader Kait aka Lili aka Carmel, they know what they're doing. Now both of you, get back to class." I nodded and left Sue's office, I walked down the hallway heading to my locker, carrying myself different than before, holding my shoulders higher. Rachel was the first person who noticed the uniform,

"Traitor!" I sighed,

"Rach, not a traitor, just a cheerleader." Quinn walked up to my locker and wrapped her arms around me, grabbing me from behind,

"Hey. Nice uniform." I smiled,

"Thanks. Can you tell Rachel I'm not a traitor?" Quinn sighed,

"Rach, Lili's not a traitor. Just because they joined the cheerios doesn't mean they're a spy for Sue." Rachel closed her locker, before sighing,

"I'm just saying, that she could still be a traitor." I cleared my throat,

"They." Rachel corrected herself,

"Sorry, they could still be a traitor." She emphasized the new pronoun and made sure that I knew that she didn't like saying it. I sighed, and Quinn grabbed my hand,
