"Good morning, sleepyhead," Rachel grumbled at me when I noticed she was awake, I hadn't slept much so I was already awake. Rachel rolled out of bed and grabbed a clean outfit from her closet,
"I'm going to go take a shower." I nodded and went back to scrolling Pinterest, Kurt walked into Rachel's side of the loft,
"So, what exactly happened between you two?" I didn't bother looking up from my phone,
"When Rachels ready to talk about it, then we can talk about it, but I promised her that I wouldn't talk about it until she was ready." Kurt nodded,
"Darn you being loyal. Do you at least want to eat something before you meet up with Quinn?" I shook my head,
"No I'm fine, I've got time." Quinn and I were meeting up in Central Park for a picnic date thing, we hadn't seen each other in almost three months and I wanted to talk to her face to face. Kurt nodded,
"Okay, just do yourself a favor, take a shower before you leave. We both know how much Quinn loves your wet hair." I smiled and Kurt left the partitioned off side of the loft. Rachel came back into her side of the loft,
"You really should get up now." I laughed,
"I know, but I just wanna lay here until the last second." Rachel laughed, then we heard Kurt call out,
"I'm leaving for the interview at Vouge now!" The door to the loft opened and closed, Rachel laid down next to me,
"Well, we're alone now." We laid in silence for a few minutes before a question escaped from my lips,
"Can I kiss you?" Rachel looked up at me, and instead of giving a verbal response, she placed her soft pink lips against mine. I placed a hand into the smaller brunette's hair, "I love you. I'm going to break up with Quinn later so you can be mine." Rachel pulled away from me,
"Don't, you'll regret it. I see the way she looks in your eyes, you guys are meant to be together. You guys are each other's soulmates. I'm just your step-brother's ex-girlfriend." Rachel stood up from the bed, I grabbed her by the hips,
"Listen to me, Quinn's been distant since she left for Yale. And we would be lying if those kisses didn't mean anything. I won't break up with her today, but if she ever breaks my heart I'm going to you because I..." I brushed the hair out of Rachel's face "I love you, Rachel Berry." I placed my lips against Rachel's, catching her off guard. After a minute or so I pulled away and watched as the smaller brunette's eyes met mine, as I felt her hands wrap around my neck. Our moment of intimacy was interrupted by my phone going off, I grabbed it from the bed,
"Hey, babe." I looked at Rachel,
"Hey Lili, I'm on the train to New York now." I nodded,
"Ok, see you in an hour." I could hear the blonde smile,
"Love you Lils." I couldn't help but smile,
"Love you too Q." I hung up and grabbed an outfit from my backpack. "Quinn just got on the train, I'm going to go jump in the shower." Rachel nodded,
"Okay." I could tell there was something else she wanted to say, "Lilian, I...I love you too." I smiled and kissed Rachel's cheek.
-time jump like 30 minutes, Lili has just gotten out of the shower-
I was about to leave, Rachel stopped me,
"Here. It complements you." Rachel placed a navy barret on the top of my head, "Perfect." I walked out of the loft and headed towards the train station. When I got there I texted Quinn,
Me: I'm at the train station, outside the main door.
Quinn: Okay, I'm about to get off the train.
Quinn walked out of the train station a few minutes later,
"Do you happen to know where I could find the most gorgeous girl in NYC?" I laughed,
"Well, I don't have a mirror to show you your face." Quinn laughed,
"Thank you, but I was talking about my girlfriend." I grabbed Quinn's hand,
"I love you." I felt oddly guilty when I said it. Quinn had a look in her eyes, it was uncertain. I wish I understood what she was going through. We sat down on the grass at Central Park. Quinn grabbed my hand,
"Can we talk?" I nodded,
"Yeah." Quinn looked at me, and I knew what was going to happen, "Are you going to break up with me?" The blonde nodded,
"I feel really bad Lili, I cheated on you with a douchebag. If it makes you feel any better he wasn't any good." I nodded,
"Ok, so you thought some douchebag was going to treat you better than I did? God. At least I had the decency to not go that far with her." Quinn looked at me,
"Wait what?" I stood up,
"Nothing. Unlike you, I don't break promises. We're done." I walked out of the park and practically ran back to the loft. I sat down on the couch, and began to cry, not bothering to look for Kurt or Rachel.
"Lili? What happened?" Kurt had come home and found me crying on the couch. "Rachel told me everything, please don't tell me you broke up with Quinn for her." I shook my head,
"She. Cheated. On. Me." Kurt hugged me, and I heard the loft door opening,
"Lili. Oh god." Rachel ran over to me and took me from Kurt's arms. "It'll be okay. Everythings going to be okay." Kurt grabbed the tea kettle and quickly brewed some tea, and put on Mama Mia. I nestled myself into Kurt and tried to focus on the movie, but even Abba couldn't stop me from thinking about my ex. Kurt grabbed my phone from my hands,
"Don't delete our conversation just block her." Kurt nodded and blocked Quinn's number and tossed my phone onto the coffee table.
