The Lili Hummel Diaries

-time jump to later that day-

Kurt, Quinn, and Blaine walked down into the basement, holding their graduation cap and gowns. I tried to keep calm knowing that they'd be leaving soon.

"Lili! Get over here!" I laughed as Kurt gently set down his cap and gown, before holding his arms out preparing for me to tackle him. I ran into Kurt's arms,

"Hey, little dude." Kurt laughed,

"Somebody didn't miss me at all." Quinn looked at me,

"No, no love for your girlfriend?" I laughed and kissed Quinn,

"I missed both of you equally." Kurt sat down on his bed and grabbed an envelope,

"Okay, this could make or break my future." I glared at Kurt,

"No, it won't, trust me." Kurt opened the letter and screamed,

"I got in!" Blaine pulled Kurt off of his bed and twirled him into his arms,

"See there was nothing to worry about."

-time jump a few hours-

Kurt sat down on my bed,

"Are you okay?" I shrugged,

"Why?" Kurt hugged me,

"Something changed about your vibe after I opened my NYADA letter. I just want to make sure your okay." I nodded,

"I'm okay, I guess I just don't want you to leave." Kurt placed his head on my shoulder,

"You're my twin, I'm never saying goodbye to you." I hugged Kurt,

"But you're leaving for New York soon, and then you'll be at NYADA and...and..." I broke down into a puddle of tears, Kurt wrapped his arms around me holding me tightly,

"I promise that I am never saying goodbye to you, Lili."

-time jump to the next day-

"Goodbye." Mr. Schue wrote on the board, "Now most of us in this room are graduating this week. So, underclassmen sing something to say goodbye to the seniors, seniors do the same." I walked out of the choir room, not ready to say goodbye to everyone.

"Lili!" Kurt was following behind me, "What's going on? You've been avoiding me since last night." I walked further from Kurt,

"I'm trying to get used to living without you." Kurt looked at me and wrapped his arms around me,

"Listen to me, I am never saying goodbye to you. We can facetime every night, and I can send you my schedule so you know when you can text me. But I promise that you are never losing me again." I nodded and walked up to the roof. I sat on the roof and cried for close to three hours. I went back down into the building, and Holly Holiday stopped me in my tracks,

"Come with me please." I sighed and followed Miss Holiday. She walked into an empty classroom, Kurt sitting on the floor,

"Oh thank god you're okay." Miss Holiday looked at us,

"I know that I don't really know either of you, but I think you two need to sing through this problem." I nodded,

"I know the perfect song about this." Kurt hugged me, and Miss Holiday smiled,

"Perfect." I handed Kurt a copy of the song, and he grabbed my hand,

"I love you." I nodded,

"Love you too."

-cut to the choir room, Lili and Kurt are standing across the room from each other-

Why did you have to hide?"
Lili: "I didn't want to let you down

Lili: "Even though it changed"
