The Last Experiment (Y/N)

Chapter 17

Y/N's POV:
I drop Wanda and Carol outside the front gates giving Wanda a quick kiss before I go.
"Be careful please," Wanda whispers.
"Don't worry I've got this," I assure her before disappearing with Nat. We land on the roof and already see swarms of guards heading out to Wanda and Carol. I had no worries about either of them they were both powerful and badasses. Nat breaks the lock on the door and we work our way through the building. There's a couple of guards that Nat wipes out with no fuss.
"I feel like at this point I'm just here to look pretty," I sulk bored.
"You can take the next lot out," Nat agrees.
"Watch and learn Romanoff," I smirk. I teleport between two guys and they go to swing for me but I teleport out and they end up knocking each other out. I teleport in front of the next guy. Batting my eyelids at him he smiles before I kick him between the legs. The next guy I use my powers to hit them off every piece of furniture in the room. When I'm finished and all the guards are knocked out I bow.
"Stop showing off Y/N. Let's get those files and get out of here," she instructs.
"Steve just paged they're overloaded at HQ two of us should go back. We've wiped out all the guards up to the second floor," Carol informs us.
"Wanda and Carol. Y/N will teleport you back there and we can finish off here," Nat tells them. I teleport down to them giving Wanda a quick hug.
"Don't worry We've got this," I assure her before I teleport them back. A few guards come my way and I wipe them out easily.

Nat and I meet in the file room. She inserts a drive to override the system and wipe the files. I go search through the files sending the ones we need back to HQ. A few guys head for Nat so I use the mind control Wanda had taught me to get them to fight each other and anyone who tried to attack us it was quite entertaining. Searching for the right files took forever the ones we didn't need I burned. Nat's drive took even longer. Rounds and rounds of guards came to attack us. I was starting to get tired but Nat needed full concentration on the drive.
"Ok I'm done. Let's get the injections and get the hell out of here," Nat says.
"I know I said I wanted to do more than look pretty but god I'm tired," I moan.

The lab was pretty invincible to forced entry. Ok Y/N think what would the code be? Something that would be important to Zemo. I tried his child's birthday his wife's birthday all of it.
"Come on Nat you're good at reading people. Help me please," I beg her.
"What's important to Zemo? What drives him?" She asks.
"His family I tried all their birthdays but not hold on when did Sokovia fall?" I ask her.
"May 6th 2015," Nat mutters still ashamed of what went on. I type in the date and the lab opens. Yes result. We search through all the draws until we find what looks like an injection. We correspond the code to the one that Fury gave us. Nat couldn't get the final cabinet open and a whole new round of guards these weren't like the others they had heavy fire arms. I used my powers to shield us while Nat got the final cabinet open.
"Come on Romanoff. I'm not sure how much longer I can hold them off," I say struggling.
"Y/N I can't get it open."

I break the glass with one hand with my powers and hold off the guards with the other. Nat grabs all the doses of injection.
"Stand behind me Nat cause when I teleport I'm going to have to stop shielding us. Are you ready?" I ask her. She nods looking at me concerned. I quickly teleport us back to HQ. Looking at Nat she's fine.
"We're back and safe," Nat informs them via comms. I look down and see blood on my shirt. Shit. But I don't feel the pain. I think I'm still full of adrenaline.
"Nat. I think I got hit," I mumble. She turns around and runs over to me. She puts pressure on my stomach where the wound is.
"Y/N's been hit. I need help to get her to the medical bay," Nat says over comms panic in her voice. She starts crying.
"Hey you stop that ok. I need you to turn your comms off because I need to tell you something. There's a letter in my top left draw to Wanda. I need you to give it to her Nat. She needs to know how I feel," I mutter through my tears.
"We are not having this conversation you are not saying goodbye cause I cannot deal with losing you," she demands. I cup her face.
"You know I love you Nat. You're my best friend. Take care of Wanda for me ok. Tell her that I love her and that meeting her was the greatest honour of my life," I instruct starting to feel the pain.
"I love you too Y/N," Nat says kissing me on the forehead. I hear shouting in the background before I pass out. I love you Wanda.
