Seoul, Han River CNH café

The arrest was a close call; Soo Yeon decided to lie low a few days. One had to dose the drama and keep their heart in check. Somehow the action did not appear to want to let go of her.

"Annyeong Park Soo Yeon," Su Jung said.

"Annyeong," the girl replied with little enthusiasm.

"There are not many people these days," the boy said, trying to start the conversation.

The CNH café was almost empty since the recent events. Scared of being caught by a contributor, celebrities avoided unnecessary appearances. Lee Hyun Gu revealing the existence of a mad stalker reinforced the fear.

"Yes, we don't have many customers."

Seeing no one behind him, Kim Su Jung continued to talk to the girl, following Soo Yeon as she cleared the tables.

"You don't remember me do you?" Su Jung asked.

"I do; you come here every day."

"No, I mean you and I have met before," Su Jung said.

"Really," Soo Yeon replied. She had no intention of asking where.

"Aren't you going to ask where we met?"

"No,안궁금해 [an gug geumhae=I'm not curious] because I've got a feeling you are going to tell me," Soo Yeon replied with a smile.

"Okay, two years ago, you helped me fight off three guys. You didn't have long hair like now, and you won't as pretty butㅡ."

Soo Yeon stopped, "pardon," she said while she cocked an eyebrow.

"I mean, you were different. You called me lanㅡ."

"Oh, my goodness, don't tell me you were the lanky boy with the glasses and braces."

"Yeah, that was me," Su Jung replied, smiling happy, knowing she had no forgotten.

"Well, you are much better too, lanky," Soo Yeon said as she recalled the moment.

Three guys cornered the boy. Soo Yeon wanted to carry on her way. It had nothing to do with her, yet she could not ignore him and leave. What if Jared had done the same thing? Where would she be now?

She walked back to the ally, where the bullies started to beat up the boy. Soo Yeon was swift. She kicked one in the back, who knocked his head against the wall. The other two left Su Jung and came to grab her.

One guy gripped her from behind, and she stepped on foot and tried to elbow him, but he was chubby, and her punches did not seem to bother him. So she used the wall. Still held by the arms, she ran her legs up the wall pushing on them to make the guy lose his balance with the pressure of her weight.

Su Jung stalled the other while the first guy who Soo Yeon knocked down got up. Now free, the girl punched the guy in the same spot in the chest multiple times, making it difficult for the guy to breathe.

The victim was thankful for the girl who saved him and invited her to eat, but Soo Yeon refused and preferred to lecture him at the time.

"You know, God made you tall. You should use your height. I mean, look at me; those guys were like what twenty centimeters taller than me. What's the use of being lanky, huh? You should be able to handle things like this. What's your name?"

"You can call me Oppa," said the boy.

"Op-pa, pardon, Oppa, you say. You can't even fight off three bullies, and you want me to call you Oppa. Listen Lanky; I'm a girl right, I'm supposed to hide behind you and say 오 빠 무서워 살려 주세요 [Oppa moseowo, sallyeo juseyo=oppa I'm scared, save me]. Soo Yeon said, clutching her hands in front of her lips, mimicking being afraid.

"Is it what just happened, NO. Seriously, come back when you have more guts, and we'll see about that Oppa business," Soo Yeon had said before running off.

Since Kim Su Jung put in some effort promising himself if fate gave him the chance to meet her again, he would be the type of guy she would like to call Oppa.

Now there he was, and he would prove the girl he deserved the title.

"My name is Kim Su Jung; I never got to thank you for that time. You go to GA, right. I study at GA too; maybe we can have lunch together."

Soo Yeon turned to face him, "Is this what it was about? You came here every day to ask me to lunch?"

"Yep."

Soo Yeon didn't know what to say, but she realized she had been harsh, and it was not sweet Soo Yeon's character.

"Okay."

"Okay, what?" Su Jung asked.

"I'll have lunch with you."

Su Jung refrained from blinking like a broken robot and replied, "Okay, let's say tomorrow," said the boy with a huge grin.

"Tomorrow?"

"Yeah, by the way, can I have your Kakao Talk [Korean app which works like Whatsapp] because GA is massive, and my head spins when I think of all the possible Parks they are in our school.

They exchanged their number by Bluetooth jiggle. Overwhelmed by the event and the overflow of emotion, Su Jung left right after.

Seoul, GA ARTS

"Have you heard the news?" Min Ha asked as they sat on one of their department benches.

"What news?"

Min Ha gave a wicked grin and pursued, "Na Ra is in trouble; she might make the chamber."

"Why?"

Since Soo Yeon took a break for a few days, she did not check the news. And now she also had Kim Su Jung to worry about, it was the day of their rendezvous, and she wondered if the young man would show up.

Min Ha did not even answer her friend; something caught her eye. "Omo, isn't that 화장을 [hwajangeul=make-up] Kim Su Jung, what is he doing here?"

Soo Yeon followed her friend's gaze. The boy was looking around, searching for her. Soo Yeon told him she was on a bench, but there were so many.

"Do you know him?" Soo Yeon asked while she watched with amusement Su Jung wander about like a lost tourist.

"I don't know him personally, but he's quite popular amongst both students from GA Arts and International. Kim Sunbae is part of the national Starcraft champions team; he's in the 2nd year of GA International Uni in engineering. He has good grades, and what makes him stand out from the nerds is he's good-looking, but you must at least know him as Very Berry Cherry's heir. Pa-ba [look] at his face even from here, you can see its heavenly glow."

So Su Jung was older than her. Soo Yeon smirked, thinking the guy she had saved was a sunbaenim. That's why he did not have a uniform when he came to the café, he was a college student, and of course, she knew VBC, the brand's night masks were what had helped Soo Yeon gain her baby fresh skin.

"Oh my gat, he is walking towards us. Otoké, otoké! [otoké=what should we do]," Min Ha exclaimed.

"Annyeong, Park Soo Yeon Ssi."

Min Ha gulped before saying," you guys know each other?"

"Not really," Soo Yeon said.

"Actually she-."

"We met at the CNH café," Soo Yeon said, beating Su Jung to the explanations.

"Oh, so what are you guys doing?" Min Ha said with a mischievous smile.

"We're going to have lunch. You can eat with us if you want," said Su Jung. At least this way, Soo Yeon would be more comfortable thought the college student.

"Cool," Min Ha exclaimed, jumping from the bench.

Soo Yeon turned, ready to make her way to the canteen.

"Where are you going?" Su Jung asked.

"To the canteen where else," Soo Yeon replied with a blunt stare which she threw at the boy.

"I thought we could eat outside," Kim Su Jung said, tugging on his backpack straps.

The two girls looked at each other before following him to a pizzeria not far from their campus.
