Soo Yeon, still weighed by guilt, decided to inflict herself a shocking reminder in the morning. Dressed in black and on heels, she asked the old family chauffeur to drive her there in a black smoked car rented for the occasion. As usual, the place was silent; the crematorium was huge. Soo Yeon's pumps echoed in the halls as she walked to find the Seo's last resting place.

There she renewed her oath, and strangely enough, her soul appeased itself while she roamed amongst the dead.

Soo Yeon placed her gloved hand on her niche in the columbarium.

"조금만 더 기다려 [tchugeum man deo kidaryeo=Wait a little longer] Hye Mi-a, I haven't forgotten wait just a little."

Family members had the Seos reunited in the same crematorium mother and daughter were next to each other. Nameplates without photos of Hye Mi or her mother; their niche reflected people's wish to forget them. Soo Yeon alone visited them and deposited flowers. Only Kyung Gi, her brother whose connections stretched out beyond Korea, still had flowers left by foreign friends from time to time. Also, his death having occurred before the scandal, the producer had the honor of being in one of Seoul's most luxurious crematoriums.

As Soo Yeon talked to herself, another person observed her; Jun Ho had just gotten back from Kung Gi's crematorium. Since the day he had touched the girl's hand, the Seos haunted the man. Not having paid his respects, he visited their final resting place, not imagining the encounter he would make. Jun Ho watched the girl leave and take the stairs; he followed. Soo Yeon appeared to be in a trance, neither turning nor stopping as she heard the echoes of his footsteps.

Where was she going?

Soo Yeon went to the basement of the crematorium. Jun Ho knew the underground emplacements were not only the cheapest but reserved for convicts and other criminals, which families didn't want next to their loved ones.

The young woman approached another columbarium repeating the same gestures as before and placing her hand on the glass.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Soo Yeon cried.

Heartbroken for having enjoyed her evening, she forsook her existence. There was no holding back the salty tears, which pricked her cheeks as they rolled down. Tremendous pain ran through her body. Why did God let her live?

Thoughts of suicide rampaged in her brain; this was a habit, a direct reaction she had every time she faced her father in this obscure place. The sensation of happiness felt like a betrayal. Some would say she exaggerated, but there was no play in her attitude. Soo Yeon suffered remembering the insults, public humiliations, death wishes, beatings, and the articles. What tore her heart to shreds was the gut feeling which told her Seo Gwan Gi was innocent and victim like the rest of them.

"I'll catch them all, I promise," Soo Yeon said, literally slapping away the tears of anger and frustration from her face.

Now she had cried fury invaded every cavity of her body. If she were to burn in hell, she would take every single person involved in the affair with her.

Jun Ho watched her leave before approaching the emplacement; there were flowers and a small passport photo of Seo Kwan Gi inside. The policeman hurried to catch up with Soo Yeon; before the girl could reach the door, he grabbed her by the shoulder, making her spin around.

"당신은 누구십니까? [dangsin nugu sibnikka=who are you? Formel] Jun Ho said, shaking her violently.

"넌 누구냐? [and who are you]" Soo Yeon returned without a speck of emotion.

Jun Ho didn't know if it was a prank or not; he took both her wrists and pushed back her sleeves, examining every inch of her hands.

"What are you doing?" Soo, Yeon yelled. She tried to pull herself away as Jun Ho pulled her closer and continued to examine her.
