Soo Yeon believed providence existed when Kyeong Min Ha approached her hoping to be friends. The revengeful teen studied every profile of her school, but she didn't expect this person, in particular, to want to befriend her.

What Soo Yeon qualified as an annoyance was more helpful than she expected. Gullible Min Ha was about to prove her worth.

"Soo Yeon, here's your invitation. I hope you'll come even though it isn't your thing. I know it's short notice."

Min Ha was right Soo Yeon had other dishes in the oven to attend to, but she would not miss this party for anything in the world.

It felt strange to be acquainted with the daughter of the man who bought Satellite Entertainment after her father's death. Kyeong Young Sik re-baptized the company Supernova Entertainment. The agency specialized in promoting Indie artists and actors with the new name even though it still made maximum benefits with a few Kpop acts. Scared to bring back the memories of the Satellite era, the company insisted on communicating about other artists.

When Soo Yeon stared at Min Ha, she sometimes couldn't help being overwhelmed by the resent, which knotted up her intestines and gave her violent cramps. It was psychological, and Soo Yeon tried so hard to conceal her profound sentiments she ended up in this state.

The emotions were a mix of jealousy and yearning; Min Ha had her life. Min Ha was Hye Mi; it was painful to live through her friend's life by proxy. At these moments, Soo Yeon imploded; she hated Min Ha to the bone.

"Of course, I'll come," Soo Yeon replied with her lip twitch back to do no good.

"Great, I even invited Kim Su Jung. He said yes after I told him you'd be there," Min Ha explained.

As she said the words, Soo Yeon realized she would step into her father's company for the first time in three years. The party was a constant pain; she needed to be there. For one night, she would have the highest concentration of celebrities per square meter, which meant maybe enough chamber topics for the next decade. Soo Yeon also had another intent, which consisted of finding clues linked to the Satellite case.

The probability of her discovering something possessed too many zeros in front of it. Yet Soo Yeon hung on to the fragile hope even though she knew she'd spend half of her evening avoiding Su Jung.

Since their date, Su Jung took distances. He didn't hang around the CNH café as he did. Mr. Perfect had got the message, but Soo Yeon wasn't sure if she was thrilled with the result.

The party was celebrating the company's three years, the upcoming album of the artist they believed to be the new Song Hi, and finally Min Ha's 18th birthday. It was the bash of the century for both GA arts and International students invited.

Later that day

"I'm glad to see you with a book instead of being on the net. What are you reading?" Kwon Jin asked him while looking over her shoulder.

"A book your PA lent it."

"What's the title?" asked Kwon Jin as he buttoned his shirt.

"Millenium, Les hommes qui n'aimaient pas les femmes," Hye Ra replied with a light lopsided smile.

"I'm not sure I like what you are reading."

"I'm not sure I care about your opinion," Hye Ra replied, making her husband turn to look at her with a stone-cold stare.

After five years of marriage, Hye Ra knew what their relationship was. Their couple was a business; what they showed to the world was a window of beautiful objects. Behind the curtain, the Korean Kennedys were anything but glamorous.

"Grandmother invited us to dinner, aren't you getting ready? Jun Ho will be there; it will be an occasion for me to make things clear about Ga Eun."

Hye Ra chuckled, "what you want to force the man to marry your sister? You are really something Kwon Jin."

Kwon Jin called Jun Ho the night before; the young man seemed enthusiast. Jun Ho even asked if the two could have a private conversation, which Kwon Jin hoped would be about his and Ga Eun's eventual marriage, if not maybe a career change. The wannabe politician hated the idea of having a cop as a brother-in-law. He thought of convincing him of being a prosecutor; Jun Ho had the diplomas for it.

A few minutes later, the couple drove to Hong's mansion in Hannam-dong.

An elegant table was laid

Kwon Jin's grandmother sat at the head of the table; her son sat opposite her at the end.

Ga Eun, her mother, and Hye Ra were to sit next to each other and their male counterparts opposite them.

In this dining room with its giant chandelier, the evening meal resembled a gala.

"Where is Ga Eun?" Kwon Jin asked as he kissed his grandmother.

"She has spent half of the evening getting ready, ah that boy better not disappoint me. Uri Ga Eun has been waiting since forever. You know she has turned down all the suitors. What shall we do if he doesn't marry her?"

"Don't worry, 할머니 [grandma], I will take care of it," Kwon Jin said.

Jun Ho's ears must have been whistling, for it's at that moment he arrived. Just in time to watch Ga Eun come down the stairs like Miss Korea. She was gracious and breath halting in Jun Ho's eyes.

"Ah, look at her well, Jun Ho, you might be a Kang, but you'll never find a finer woman than our Ga Eun, believe me," the grandmother said while she nudged him.

"할머니 [Halmeoni=grandma]!" Ga Eun exclaimed, lowering her head in embarrassment.

"What it's true, I'm tired of seeing you hang around this house when you should be in a household of your own raising your children."

The older woman was hasty, and she had her reasons.

"Why do you think I'm still around? My last breath is hanging on your marriage and my grandchildren's face."

The old lady's words made Hye Ra lower her head; she knew the older woman held a grudge against her for being barren. If her family weren't rich enough to strengthen Kwon Jin's ambitions, the Hongs would have probably asked for the marriage dissolution.

"할머니 [Halmeoni]!"

"So Jun Ho, how do you feel about being back in Korea?" Asked the older woman.

"Well, I was already back for my military service, so things haven't changed too much."

"Uri Ga Eun is prettier though," added the grandmother, who didn't want to stray away on other subjects.

"Yes, Ga Eun is beautiful indeed," Jun Ho replied, staring at the woman who blushed at the opposite side of him.

"So you are an Inspector at Gangnam, isn't it too hard? What are you working on?" Ga Eun's mother asked.

"Eh, I'm still new, but I got to work on the Lee Hyun Gu stalking case and now Nirvana Blue."

"Nirvana Blue, isn't that the drug that makes you have hallucinations which are Blue?" Ga Eun asked.

"Yes, we are trying to track down the person behind it. Things are going well so far," Jun Ho replied, wondering if he sounded convincing.

"And Black Moja?" Hye Ra added as she revived.

"We're working on it," said Jun Ho, a little embarrassed as he wondered if he wasn't talking too much.

Kwon Jin put on a plastic smile throwing his wife a glare before saying," don't mind her, Jun Ho, like always my wife is trying to be interesting. Housewives have a lot of free time to surf and watch nonsense on the web."

Jun Ho noticed how Ga Eun tightened her grip around her knife while Hye Ra took a massive gulp on her glass of wine.

"Housewives are not the only ones who appreciate NETIZEN. Over eighty of Seoul's population has logged on to the site," Jun Ho said in an attempt to lighten the atmosphere.

안녕하세요,

Who is feeling sorry for Min Ha? I know I am; she is so sincere towards the girl she considers her friend.

I mean, it's not her fault if her father bought Satellite, and she is unaware of the emotions she provokes Soo Yeon.

Who hates Kwon Jin?

If you are not feeling him well, you are right. To model his mentality, I mainly looked at Nam Gyu Man, the baddy in Remember the war of the Son and  Cha Min Ho, the meanie in Defendant. That's how I got my bad boy Hong Kwon Jin and believe me; you can start lobbying him.

Hack Fact: The chapter is called Evil Maid Attack; it's the name of a real attack in which the hacker has to access the computer, which needs to be hacked physically. I found it appropriate for Soo Yeon's plans to infiltrate Supernova Entertainment.

Music: KARD rumor.
