Marc called in a waiter and ordered him to bring Soo Yeon there. Marc already pitied the girl who was about to meet the devil. Unlike Kwon Jin, Marc avoided women since that time. He learned not to get involved with them. Once was more than enough.
Jun Ho was uncomfortable, he wanted to work on the Nirvana Blue case, but he didn't expect to babysit Jerome the Cyber Tracker. Looking at the club from the balcony, Jun Ho couldn't help but think he and his partner resembled a cliché remake of Rush Hour.
The two-man dressed for the part, Jun Ho, opted once again for the all-black furtive camouflage, whereas Jerome found nothing better to wear than a red shirt which attracted all the stares.
"Your clubs are banging," Jerome yelled in Jun Ho's ears.
There was something about the man Jun Ho couldn't put the finger on. Jerome was a crack when it came to computers; within a few days, he had helped the Cyber criminality read NETIZEN threads hidden in the Darknet. But still, there was something that made Jun Ho feel insecure.
Perhaps it was because of Nam Gyu Min; the stalker insisted in such a way that there was a woman the day he was arrested. Jun Ho doubted the Cyber tracker's version of the event. The other person who had a vague answer was the victim, Lee Hyun Gu, and he thought an angel rescued him.
Scoping the dance floor, he saw her in her black dress, which exposed too much of her to Jun Ho's liking.
"What on earth is she doing here?"
Jun Ho knew Soo Yeon worked for NETIZEN, her role wasn't defined, but he didn't want her to bury herself further. The less she was implicated, the easier it would be to bail her out, but the girl always appeared where there was trouble.
"I'll be back in a minute Jerome," Jun Ho said, tapping his arm.
Jun Ho left Jerome's side to join Soo Yeon, but someone beat him to her. A waiter was taking her somewhere.
Soo Yeon followed the waiter, who told her she was invited to the VVIP room above. The girl imagined it would be the perfect opportunity to discover something. They climbed the stairs and arrived in the corridor leading to the lounge when Jun Ho grasped Soo Yeon's arm.
"What are you doing here?" Jun Ho asked.
"I could ask you the same question?"
"Misses," the waiter said with insistence.
Jun Ho overlooked Soo Yeon to address himself to the waiter "you can tell your VVIP that Miss has left," said Jun Ho Yanking Soo Yeon away.
"Let go of me," Soo Yeon said, trying to wiggle out of his grasp.
"Don't make a scene."
Jun Ho dragged Soo Yeon by the arm as if she was under arrest till they reached outside.
"What is wrong with you?" Soo Yeon yelled once far enough from indiscreet ears. "You are messing everything up."
"Are you unconscious? Do you even have an idea of who or what was waiting for you in that room?"
"I can defend and take care of myself. Who are you to stop me? Are you my father or my brother?" said the girl.
"You are a minor and as a representer of the law-"
"Stop talking, bull; I'm going back in."
Soo Yeon turned to leave only to have Jun Ho grab her again, "don't even try, or I'll tell the bouncers you are a minor."
"You don't know what you are doing, Jun Ho. I need to find out something."
"For who, NETIZEN or Jared?"
"What do you know about Jared?"
Jun Ho piqued Soo Yeon's curiosity. She had no news from Jared since she wanted to know if he was alive. This time it was her who grasped Jun Ho by the shirt, "tell me where he is? Is he okay? Where's Jared?"
Soo Yeon cared for someone. The fact that the someone she worried about happened to be an outlaw annoyed Jun Ho.
"Soo Yeon, you know him? Jerome was right; Jared is behind NETIZEN. He's the one making you do this. What has he got on you? I can help you, Soo Yeon."
While Jun Ho and Soo Yeon argued outside the club, Kwon Jin was getting impatient to see his candy girl, "where's the girl?" asked Kwon Jin as the waiter entered.
"A man who seemed to be a cop took her, Sir."
The words the waiter unleashed made both Kwon Jin and Marc leave the building; their experience had taught them never to be in the same perimeter as the police, for tragedy always immediately followed.
As Lee Rim danced, a guy approached her; he was handsome. The girl kept eye contact with him. They smiled at each other, and the man came closer, "having fun," Lee Rim nodded in agreement.
"I've got a little something to entice your night. Do you want to try?" Lee Rim returned a smile, and the man understood she was down for a try, but before she could pick the pill from his finger, another guy, one of Lee Hyun's drunk friends, snatched it. The act caused the anger of the handsome stranger who pushed him away and left.
Lee Rim remained eyes consumed by the herd of celebrities around her didn't realize Soo Yeon's absence.
From where Jerome was on the balcony, he noticed a guy acting suspiciously; he was pushing everyone aside, screaming, "have no fear," as he went.
"Jun Ho, a guy is walking towards the entrance. I think he has a problem," Jerome said in his earpiece.
"What?" Jun Ho asked he was still debating with Soo Yeon, who was hesitating on hitting into one of his vitals to knock him to sleep.
Three minutes later, screams came from the entrance. The guy who had taken the Nirvana Blue from Lee Rim walked in front of a speeding car screaming, "I'm the Invincible Spider-Man."
Jun Ho only heard the men's cry, running instantly to his side but a second too late. Around them, people screamed, but what shocked more were the phone camera flashes of those in a hurry to post on social media. There was no use telling them to stop. The beeps and the clicks carried on. Jerome quickly joined him. Jun Ho threw a stare at Soo Yeon, who was already leaving even without his gesture.
Oh, Seong Won had too much to drink, and Nirvana Blue was the cherry on a cake he shouldn't have touched. He died from hemorrhage a few minutes before the ambulance arrived.
투 비 컨티뉴드>>>>To be continued
안녕하세요,
I didn't really know how to carry this chapter because there are so many conversation cuts. I didn't know how to do the transitions between the scenes. So please let me know if it's confusing.

Also, I would like to know if anything particular intrigued you in this chapter (because there's one chuck of the iceberg in this chapter).
Music: The first song is Swedish mafia house's Your Name feat. Pharrell. It was one of my favorite songs when it came out. Somehow I feel the video has a NETIZEN vibe to it with the people and their masks and the title, of course. The end song is Paradise by MILLIC, which I also thought stuck well to the theme.
