Seoul, Gangnam Police Station

Back in Seoul, thanks to Lee Rim, L'Hexagone dealer was apprehended. 22-year-old Byeon Tae Won sold NB to pay his college tuition and expenses. Tae Won didn't seem touched in any way by what happened to the victims. But when inspector Gwan told him how the prison he would be in was, Byeon Tae won loosened the noose of his tongue.

"The guy's a foreigner," Tae Won began.

Inspector Cheol, who was on another case, suddenly walked into the interrogation room. Interrogations were inspector Cheol's specialty; his stern and firm voice had suspects confessing in no time.

Inspector Gwan, on the other hand, looked like a grizzly with his built body, but as soon as he opened his mouth, suspects discovered he was a wolf without any teeth.

Byeon Tae lowered his head, and his gaze darted.

"So you were saying the guy is a foreigner," inspector Gwan pursued.

"IㅡI'm not sure; some say it's a guy from China."

Inspector Cheol remained silent; arms cross at the corner of the interrogation room.

Jun Ho and Jerome, behind the screen, noted the fundamental change in the suspect's behavior.

The interrogation ended, and the police transferred Byeon Tae Won.

A hunch made Jun Ho follow the transfer convoy.

"What's the deal?" Asked Jerome.

"I think we can do better than Gwan from here. Jun Ho said, getting out of his car, walking up to the convoy, which arrived at a surprising destination. They were at the SPO, which was strange.

Why was a lowly dealer taken directly to the Supreme Prosecutors office and not the districts?

"Excuse me, can I have a last word with the suspect," Jun Ho said to the Policemen.

In the meantime, Jerome asked the driver to step out, taking his place.

The lower-ranked police officer let Jun Ho climb in the van to face the young dealer and went to wait a few meters away.

"Anneyeong, Byeon Tae Won Ssi."

"Who are you? What do you want?" The young man asked.

"I'm Kang Jun Ho. Perhaps you've heard of me. I'm Senator and future Presidential candidate Kang's son.

Jun Ho hated playing on his status, but it was the only thing he had come up with on such short notice. And his words had the impact he expected, Tae Won straightened upon his position.

"Listen, Byeon Tae Won Ssi, for some reason. You are at the Supreme Prosecutors office. This transfer is a bit too much, so this either means they suspect you of a bigger crime, or they count on dumping a crime on you. I have a deal to make with you, all I want is a name, and I promise you that whatever they plan, I will get you out of there."

The young man brought his handcuffed hands to his head to scratch it. Jun Ho could tell he was hesitant.

"Hurry, we have little time," Jun Ho insisted.

Tae Won thought a second before answering; he wasn't a gangster. He just wanted to make easy money, which would lighten his parent's burden. Tae Won didn't wish Lee Rim to identify him for prison scared him. Human nature and his natural survival instinct were what motivated him now. He refused to rot in jail for some rich people who didn't give a toss about him.

"It's the French guy, he has a factory in Gunsan, but you won't catch him. He has eyes everywhere."

At that moment, there was a knock on the door.

"Inspector, please step out."

Jun Ho did as ordered.

"Oh, prosecutor Seung Young it's been a while, looking sharp in your suit," Jun Ho exclaimed.

"Kang Jun Ho," the prosecutor said, surprised.

The prosecutor was of Hong Kwon Jin college promotion and one of his minions. Seung Young was also a supporter of Senator Kang.

"What brings you here, Inspector Kang?" The prosecutor said, regaining his composure.

"I'm so surprised, I was assisting the convoy in transferring our suspect, and the convoy stopped here for some weird reason which maybe you can enlighten me on."

"I didn't know inspectors assisted the transfer of lowly dealers," prosecutor Seung said.

"I didn't know the SPO interrogated little dealers. I mean, it's not the district nor the high but the Supreme Prosecutor Office. Uri Oh Tae Won must be worth something," Jun Ho said, displaying a cynical smile.

The prosecutor cleared his throat," I'll be taking charge of him from now on."

"I'm sorry, I don't think so; unless you give me a summoning, I will transfer the suspect as it was initially programmed."

"Inspector Kang," yelled the prosecutor.

"Did you just yell at me, prosecutor Seung?" Jun Ho asked, pointing at himself eyes widened and a gaping mouth with an 'oh my God' expression of shock.

Seung Young was aware he had stepped out of line. The man in front of him wasn't just a banal Inspector. Jun Ho was the Senator's son and perhaps the child of the future president. The prosecutor surrendered. In the van, Tae Won was reassured by the choice he made. The van drove off to its destination.

Seoul, SPO

"Where is the suspect?" Asked Seung Young's superior.

"They took him, sir," Seung Young said with a forehead shining with sweat as he saw his superior's forehead wrinkle with the waves of skin, which formed his frown of anger.

"TOOK HIM, WHO TOOK HIM?" yelled the man.

"Kang Jun Ho, Sir." Seung Young replied, lowering his head.

"Ah, how can we do our job in a tug of war between father and son? This is ridiculous call Hong Kwon Jin."

안녕하세요,

So what do you think of Shin Bo Ra? She was part of Mad LG, and you'll be finding out her circumstances in a few chapters.

Oh my Goodness, Jun Ho did the "I'm-a-chaebol-hail-me-act!" I hope you forgive him. He is doing it for a good cause.

Music: PENTAGON with runaway, I don't know the group I went random on and SUPER JUNIOR with their black suit because they are a Kpop institute. I mean, I grew up with these guys.

Hack fact:

The chapter is called the nonce. In computer vocabulary, a nonce is a random number or pseudo which you can only use once. You can't replay the sequence once you've used it. I called the chapter nonce in reference to Jun Ho's act, a joker that he can only play up once.

Thank you for reading.
