There were two places Soo Yeon had to go. Two people she needed to see one last time.

Kim Su Jung, aka FIXXIT, wasn't surprised to receive a message asking him to step outside at two in the morning.

It was cold, and he barely distinguished Soo Yeon's figure in the dark.

"Are you okay?" Su Jung asked.

"I'm fine. Thank you."

"For what?"

"I know you helped with the police station."

Su Jung had down the shutdown; it was a piece of cake for a hacker like him. The young man looked at Soo Yeon intensely, trying to memorize all her traits; he knew why she was there.

Su Jung was thankful Soo Yeon thought of him. The young man didn't know things would end this way. It was a tragedy, but yet he was relieved to see Soo Yeon was alive. Also, there was something else, the gloom which her face wore permanently seemed diminished.

Was Soo Yeon freed from her demons, or was it the presence of the blond-haired guy which Su Jung assumed was Jared, which appeased her?

Su Jung had never met the famous hacker, but they had briefly exchanged information when the police apprehended Soo Yeon.

Though Jared stood at a reasonable distance and in the dark, Su Jung couldn't help attempting to see the face of his rival, but there was a more urgent matter.

Su Jung's emotions twisted and turned as reality hit him. He was going to have to let go of his first love. All this time, the young man kept his feelings. Su Jung protected them till he could express his appreciation to Soo Yeon, and now she was leaving, it broke his heart.

"I can't ask you if you'll come back."

"As long as we're alive, you never know," Soo Yeon replied.

"Can I hug you?" Su Jung asked while taking her in his arms.

"Why ask if you are going to do it anyway?"

Su Jung let go, and Soo Yeon turned to walk away. He watched her leave when she stopped and turned to yell, "bye, chal gayo, OPPA."

Seoul, Hong Byeongwon

An hour later, Soo Yeon stood in front of Jun Ho's private room; there were no guards.

Soo Yeon entered the room, trying to make less noise as possible. She was glad to see Jun Ho breathed by himself. The girl slowly approached. He looked so peaceful, almost like a child, all the images of him scolding her during the last few months playing in her mind. Never would she have imagined such an outcome back then.

No one scolded Soo Yeon when she was wrong. The only reproach people made concerned her absolute quiet, which made them uncomfortable for some obscure reason.

Having the inspector bark at her so often annoyed her, but now standing in front of Jun Ho, Soo Yeon realized how much she needed it to feel as though someone cared.

Her fingers slid on the bars of his bed, hesitating in front of Jun Ho's motionless hand before taking hold of it like a thief grasps his goods.

Jun Ho was the son of the man who destroyed her family and ruined her life, yet Soo Yeon couldn't hate him like she despised his father.

"Jun Ho, Jun Ho, can you hear me?"

Soo Yeon's voice was like an echo, drawing Jun Ho out of the abyss.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to shoot you. It's not what I wanted. I wished to kill the senator for what he did to everyone for what he did to us. I know he's your father, but-"
