The students entered the pizzeria.

"I thought you might like it since you are American and all," Su Jung said, a little embarrassed; he had done his homework on her, Soo Yeon noted.

In her head, she laughed, aish tchin-aish this 잘생겼어 [jal-saeng-gyeoss-eo=handsome] guy really thinks I like pizzas because I'm a foreigner.

"Oh, that's very thoughtful," Soo Yeon said. Kuré, that's American-born Soo Yeon style; there you go, a nice candy girl comment.

They sat down at a table where Min Ha's gaze shifted between the two before they ordered.

"So, you met at the café?" Min Ha asked like a mother planning to marry off her daughter.

"Yes," Soo Yeon replied.

Their orders arrived. Min Had took a Pepperoni pizza, which she shared with Soo Yeon; the girls didn't want to appear like food crazy women. They pretended to have a small appetite.

Su Jung ordered a carbonara.

They ate as they talked about their school, and then Min Ha bought up the chamber.

"As I was saying, apparently a fan of Na Ra waited for four hours under the rain to see her, and when she finally came, she refused to sign the fan book because the pen and the book were wet. The girl is in the hospital because she caught pneumonia."

"I heard about that; it's horrible. I mean, the girl waited four hours. She could at least have signed whatever the fan wanted," Su Jung said.

"What's worse is a contributor caught Na Ra saying the girl did not have enough witts to go and shelter. But the trouble is if she didn't wait for Na Ra at that exact spot, she wouldn't have seen her. I think Na Ra will be the subject of the next NETIZEN chamber.

Soo Yeon ate quietly; she was in her no comment mode dreaming of her canteen's hot ramen and fried tofu.

"Soo Yeon, are you with us?" Min Ha asked.

"Uhm, ah yes," Soo Yeon answered with a facial expression of a lost baby, which made Su Jung smile.

"So what do you want from uri [our] Soo Yeon? She is pretty and smart andㅡ."

"Min Ha-yaㅡ," Soo Yeon glared at her classmate.

Su Jung smiled eyes and lips, "yes, she is all that's why I want to invite her again," the comment made Soo Yeon, who sipped on her cola cough.

"Invite me again, where?"

Su Jung pondered a second," to the cinema, for example."

"Cheongmal-yo [really] that would be great," Min Ha replied in Soo Yeon's stead.

"No, it wouldn't," Soo Yeon protested. What did this boy want from her?

"Come on, Soo Yeon, let's double date; I've always dreamed of doing that, and besides, when was the last time you went to the cinema?" Min Ha asked.

The truth was the last movie Soo Yeon never went to the cinema; the girl pondered only to realize it was so long ago she possessed no souvenir.

"I can't."

"Why?" Min Ha and Su Jung asked in unison.

"I haven't done my English essay."

Min Ha rolled her eyes, "all the weekend, stop lying."

"And there's the CNH café."

"You don't work on weekends," Su Jung replied. It had never occurred to Soo Yeon the boy could come to see her on weekends. As a result, he knew her schedule.
