At 11:45, there was a subtle knock on the door. Bo Ra thought it was a neighbor; she opened the door to find Kwon Jin. He entered without waiting for an invitation. Bo Ra looked over his shoulder, thinking she'd see Marc, but he wasn't there. She let Kwon Jin in and closed the door.
"Bo Ra, have we got a problem?"
"No."
"Then why do I feel I've got a problem? You see, Bo Ra, a little girl like you, probably doesn't know the rules of this world. But they are things one must not do and people who you should never anger. And you know what? I'm one of those people. No one crosses the line with me," Kwon Jin said in the softest tone Bo Ra had ever heard the man speak in since she knew him.
Kwon Jin never appeared as handsome as he did while standing in Bo Ra's living room, dressed all in black. It was the first time the young woman saw the man with a black shirt. All he needed was his hair slicked back with some gel to resemble a real gangster or Gong Woo in Goblin, the great Guardian.
"I'm sorry, Kwon Jin Oppa, I did wrong. Forgive me. I'll rectify what I said; I'll say I lied and that I was under NB's influence."
"I forgive you, but we still have a problem. The problem is you, Bo Ra. You are rotten, and if you stick around, you'll rot all the others."
"Kwon Jin Oppa, I'm sorry," Bo Ra panicked.
"I bought you a present, little pills you like so much. I think you need them."
"Oh, thank you," Bo Ra said.
Kwon Jin showed her a small bag; there were a least four pills.
"Oh, four, I could get through the week with this," the girl said as she popped one in her mouth and tucked the bag in her jean's pocket.
"A week, who said they were for a week?" Kwon said in a sarcastic tone.
Bo Ra looked at Kwon Jin from head to toe. She didn't realize the man wore one glove. Bo Ra was about to run when Kwon Jin yanked her by the hair to lock her in his arms in his free hand. He held a needle which he shot in her leg the girl fell to the ground.
"It's a diluted version of NB; Marc says a shot goes straight to your head."
Bo Ra heaved as she felt her heart speeding up. Kwon Jin got up and looked around; he didn't touch anything except her, but he had nothing to worry about as he planned every detail.
The guy who worked for him in the Scientific team would clean all the traces if there were any; he left Bo Ra on the floor knowing Marc would be there for midnight as he had instructed. If there were to be a culprit, it should be him.
Four minutes later, Marc arrived missing Kwon Jin, who got in the second lift, which was going down.
The door was a crack open; he went inside. Marc's eyes fell on Bo Ra, trying to climb over her ledge.
"Bo Ra, what are you doing?"
The girl saw a blue demon with purple flames coming out of his mouth.
"You won't catch me, demon -I have wings I can fly away," the girl yelled in triumph as she passed on the other side. "Bye-bye," she said as Marc ran to the window, yelling her name.
Marc didn't look to check how she fell; in the panic, he ran. He tried to call Kwon Jin.
"Kwon Jin, where are you? Are you on your way? If so, don't come. I'm at Bo Ra. She's dead; she just jumped out the window," Marc said, voice trembling.
