Aside from the guilt that (Y/n) felt, she was comforted by the fact that she had an entire day to herself. That meant she could explore the place, familiarise herself with the locals and get to know a few of her fellow crew mates.
Skipping in glee, she glanced from side to side at the corridors of Castle Dedede and how bland they were. Dull green tiling was the only thing she could spot when she skipped down the halls. Occasionally, she would see a small, circular table with a pot of flowers atop it. Waddle Dees worked for the King and crowded the hallways with their presence, their adorable faces full of optimism knowing that they, too, were on break.
That made her wonder, where was Sir Meta Knight? Ever since he had stood up for Glïtçh, he hadn't been seen.
With the thought of him in her mind, she planned a day that she thought wouldn't come, a lovely little day trip with only the two of them.
Speaking of not seeing people recently, where had Freya gone to? She wasn't around and hadn't been around for the last few days, which made her question if she was even a member of the crew anymore.
She continued through the castle in search of a familiar face.
Before she knew it, (Y/n) found herself outside, admiring the clear skies above her. How she missed the wind blowing through her hair and the dreamy view of villages from such a high altitude. Even with the chores she had to do on board, it still felt like one of the most pleasurable experience she had ever gone through. Sooner or later, they would return to the skies, if only Sir Meta Knight was around to tell her when..
Continuing on with her walk, she made it to Cappy Town, a quaint little village full of Cappies. Kirby apparently lived on the outskirts of the town, accompanied by an annoying roommate called Tokkori. Supposedly, at least. Such were only tales she had heard from the other maids.
A girl approached her and greeted her to the village, in optimism. She had introduced herself as Tiff/Fumu along with her brother who was called Tuff/Bun. Her brother was more cheery and playful than she was, and she acted more laid back and intelligent. Tiff spoke of some familiar people such as Kirby, King Dedede and Meta Knight.
"Hey, I know all of them. I actually work for Sir Meta Knight." She told her, getting a look of awe from Tiff/Fumu.
"Oh, really? That would explain where he went for the last few weeks. Apparently, he crash landed somewhere and got help from a human on a planet called Earth." Tiff informed her.
"Yeah, I helped him to fix the Halberd. It got damaged after a fight with Galacta Knight, which is why he crash landed. We spent a few week fixing it, becoming friends as the time flew." (Y/n) boasted. "Speaking of Sir Meta Knight, would you happen to know where he is?"
Shaking her head, Tiff just shrugged. "Meta Knight can be quite mysterious at times, that's for sure. Maybe he is working on his ship with his crew? I've heard that he has a band of people aboard who help to operate the ship." She suggested.
Rubbing her chin, (Y/n) realized who she was on about,"Oh, you mean Axe Knight, Mace Knight, Javelin Knight, Trident Knight and Captain Vul? I know them."
Tuff's attention turned to their conversation. "Wait, Meta Knight has a ship?"
Both of the girls nodded in synchronization. "He has a whole band of Knights on board along with a load of maids too. The Knights are pretty cool, to be honest. I've gotten to know them a little bit but I know the maids better."
The kid's jaw dropped at this, he had no idea that Meta Knight even had a battleship. "Woah, that's so cool!" He gawked.
(Y/n) rolled her eyes in amusement. Tuff had known Meta Knight for longer yet didn't know he owned the Halberd? Having a battleship is a hard thing to hide, considering it's size.
"I need to find Sir Meta Knight. To be honest, I just want to know where he is, I get worried about him pretty easily." (Y/n) confessed.
"Why don't you check if he is working on the ship with the load of Knights he has? You know, Axe Knight, Ma-...I forgot their names." Tiff stammered.
With a giggle, (Y/n) corrected her,"Axe Knight, Mace Knight, Javelin Knight, Trident Knight and Captain Vul."
With that, she waved her goodbyes and set off to where the Halberd had landed. To no surprise, she found him working on repairing a few minor damages to the exterior. "Hey Sir Meta Knight, whatcha doing?" She playfully asked, genuinely interested.
"Only sorting the exterior of the Halberd out. There is a small dent in this sheet of metal here that I need to sort. Other than that, she should be good." He smirked.
"Well then, should we do something today or have you already got something planned?" (Y/n) shyly questioned, hands behind her back.
"I've got a relatively busy schedule today, perhaps tomorrow? Si?" He offered, accidentally breaking off into Spanish at the end.
Giggling, she covered her mouth and nodded her head. "I'll help you if you want, it'll speed it up."
He declined her proposal and continued fixing it himself. "It is really nothing that big. No está tan mal." He said, brushing it off as nothing.
"Well, we can spend tomorrow together, right? Not like a date, but like a day together.." she murmured in nervousness.
He lightly chuckled to himself as he finished repairing the dent. "Si, (Y/n)."
