Saffron woke up. The heat from the sun was immense and insufferable; there was no way anyone could sleep through it. At once, she got to making the beds. With it being her own bed, she lazily tossed the blankets on to look roughly tidy.
Everyone else was asleep but Faye. Nova knows where she was as it was unlike her to get up before 8am.
Being her sister, she knew what she was likely to do and likely not to do. It was probably that she was in the kitchen getting a snack before breakfast.
Ah, the perks of not being human. Not gaining weight was such a glorious thing.
Nope. She surprisingly wasn't in the kitchen.
Well, now Saffron has no idea where she was. The kitchen was her best and only guess.
As she sulkily dragged her feet along the floor, Saffron noticed that she was with Galacta Knight.
Strange.
Saffron never recalled her being close friends with him?
Maybe things had changed a little since she last checked on her sisters. People change, as they say.
The two were having a pleasant discussion about nothing in particular. Again, it was strange because it was nothing like her to get up so early just so she could speak with someone.
Oh..ooh.
It made sense.
Faye obviously.."had a thing" for him. Clearly she was interested in him. Clearly.
"Oh, looks like someone's into someone." (Y/n) smirked, making Saffron shriek in surprise.
She gave a loud sigh before sternly telling (Y/n) off,"Don't scare me again, y'hear?!"
It was like being disciplined by a baby duckling, it was just something cute trying to be intimidating.
"Well, I don't see how that's helping. You just shouted at me, you idiot." (Y/n) shot back.
Rolling her eyes, Saffron focused on the two friends. "She's clearly interested in him, you can tell from her eyes.."
It was (Y/n)'s turn to roll their eyes,"Or maybe she likes him as a friend?"
Saffron scoffed and turned her attention back to the friends in the next room.
If someone were to walk down the hallway, they would be very concerned. Especially if it were one of the Knights.
"I don't get why you're so excited over this.." (Y/n) mumbled, shrugging.
She was going to go off at (Y/n) but kept it simple,"(Y/n), it is my job as Cupid to get them together now, seeing as they clearly like eachother."
(Y/n) chuckled,"Oh really? How are you Cupid? You don't have any wings.."
Saffron was going to go off on one but kept her cool,"(Y/n), just shut up.."
Not much happened after that. (Y/n) got up and left, leaving Saffron to spy on the two of them like an absolute creep.
When Faye came out of the room, she was met with an uncomforting smirk from Saffron.
Saffron pestered Faye for the day, saying that she was in love with Galacta Knight.
Was she really? Nobody could say for sure.
