Fairy Hinata x Hunter Bokuto

-----

FLUFF

-----

The wind whipped at Bokuto's hair harshly as he urged his horse to go faster. Concentrating, he aimed for the large bull-like creature, which was at least twice the size of himself, and released the arrow. It stuck right into its front leg, and he mentally cheered for slowing it down.

The large trees that had blocked his view of the creature for a good three miles had mostly cleared, and he soon came into a large opening. His horse slowed itself despite Bokuto asking it to move forward, making him sigh in frustration.

Leaping off the horse, Bokuto pulled a rope from the pocket on its saddle and tied it, walking into the opening in search of the large beast. "H-Hey!" A small voice sounded. It seemed to echo around, so the pepper-haired male couldn't exactly pinpoint where it came from.

Just as the echoing voice stopped, a small thud was heard from behind him. On instinct, he pulled his bow out and held it up in the direction of the voice, but saw nothing. "Huh?"

"Are you okay, Nao?" A more quiet voice said from in front of him. Growling, he turned back around but gasped in shock. A boy with bright orange hair and transparent orange wings seemed to be comforting the large beast he had been chasing all day.

"What do you think you're doing?! Get away from that thing! Are you trying to die?!" Not knowing how to save the little male, Bokuto raised his bow once more and fired straight at the beast's head.

A flash of orange appeared, then the arrow was gone. The boy had caught the arrow and was walking over to Bokuto with an angry expression. "He's not a thing or a beast! He's my friend!" The boy was in front of him now as the pepper-haired male could only gap at him.

With a pout, the ginger held the arrow between them with both of his hands, snapping it in two and letting it fall onto the ground. "Why are you here? You're a hunter, right? This isn't your territory."

Bokuto couldn't tear his eyes away from the beautiful male before him. His shining, ginger hair, his candy-like caramel eyes, his glowing, pale skin, and his transparent, orange wings. He was perfect.

"Ah, um, I may have gone too far into the forest..." He muttered, making Hinata tilt his head in thought. Bokuto's horse walked forward, bowing its head to the ginger. "Oh, hello!" He giggled, petting the horse's face lovingly.

The horse leaned into the touch, looking visibly happy. "I have to heal Nao. I'd appreciate it if you'd stay away from here, Hunter. Thank you."

Hinata turned back to the bull-like creature and slowly comforted him as he placed his hands on the arrow and pulled it out, his small hands glowing in orange light. The creature didn't move, and neither did Bokuto.

Instead, he walked forward, his horse following him. "There, that should- Ah! You're still here?! What-What do you want! Go back home already! It's getting dark!" An uneasy look crossed Bokuto's face.

"I- What's-What's your name?!" He stuttered out, gripping his satchel anxiously. It was obvious the ginger wasn't fond of him- he did hurt his friend after all. "... Tell me yours first," the male muttered, throwing his arms around Nao.

"Um, it's-it's Bokuto! Bokuto Koutarou! I'm a hunter, but, um, you-you know that already... Ah, shit..." A laugh escaped the ginger's lips as he walked forward and held his hand out to the pepper-haired male.

"Hinata Shouyou. I'm a fairy and the guardian of The Twisting Forest. It's nice to meet you," he said with a smile, shaking hands with the hunter with a smile. "Oh, no! It's already sunset!" Hinata panicked, looking at Bokuto, then at the surrounding area.
