Leo's POV:
I don't remember when but somehow I fell asleep.
I roll over expecting to find ember, but the bed was empty. I could hear ace and Xander making breakfast.
"Dude you don't put the shell in with the eggs." That's definitely Xander
"Why what if I like my eggs crunchy?" Jesus how is he one of stefanions best men. I roll out of embers bed and head down stairs. Ace and Xander don't realize I'm here until i clear my throat.
"Heyyyyyy Leo dude. Good news I made a new type of omelette. BADNEWSISMEANDXANDERHAVETOGOBACKTOTHEHIUSEINCALIBECAUSESBOSSFOUNDALEADANDNEEDSOURHELPIKNOWYOUWILLMISSME." Ace screamed the last part.
"Xander please translate." I asked
"Me and Ace have to go back to the house in California because boss found a lead and needs our help. Then he said he knows you'll miss him." Xander says with a bored tone. I mean I don't blame him Ace can be a lot. The only person that shuts him up is Ember, I have no clue how she dose that it's practically impossible.
"Awwww I'll miss you ace." I turn around and see ember making her way towards me with open arms. She shoves past me and hugs Ace the Xander.
"Amore I'm still waiting for my hug." (Love) I say as I open my arms. She advances towards me holding out her arms. Wait is she actually going to hug me?
She grabs my arm and twist it back so she's behind me holding my arm.
She pushes it up more and i wince. "You're not special enough for a hug." She whispered in my ear, then kicked the back of my knee in as she shoves me down making my impact 10 times worse.
Her Ace and Xander are basically on the floor by the time I recover.
"Haha keep laughing amore." I walk the counter where's she now is. I stand in between her legs and whisper, "game on."
Embers POV:
When I pushed Leo down I felt sparks. I know I know that sounds so cliché, anyways right now I'm in my room deciding what Netflix show to watch when my door opening interrupted my very serious thoughts.
Leo waltz in like he owns the place. Bitch.
"Ok so Xander and Ace left and your father called me and told me about the lead." He says as he sits on the edge of the bed. "He said that it's not a mafia targeting you it's some old hag we can't find anything on him all we have is a picture." He pulls out his phone and soon my world comes crashing down.
