Synopsis: Harry is jealous of Y/N's girlfriend

Harry and Y/N were best friends.

The type of best friends you'd see in the movies and you'd aspire to have because of how chaotic of a duo they were.

They were so close they'd seen each other at their best and at their worst. There was no judgement between them and that was the reason why Y/N came out to Harry as bisexual before she could anyone else.

Harry was so happy for his best friend and proud of the confidence she had in confiding in him about something that had been plaguing her mind for possibly years.

He was so happy, until Y/N met Jessie.

Jessie and Y/N were complete opposites.

Y/N was innocent and wouldn't even hurt a fly. She dressed in multi coloured outfits and had her hair in bunches tied with ribbons. She'd paint her nails in bright colours and listen to music from disney soundtracks at any given moment.

On the other hand, Jessie was loud. She wore dark colours and smoked weed down alleyways on her breaks at work. She was a lot more opinionated and didn't really see things in the light-hearted, colourful way Y/N did.

They met at a London pub when Harry was performing at an open mic night. Jessie was serving drinks and spotten Y/N from a mile away in her red dress and black boots. She slid over a vodka lemonade and got chatting to her straight away.

Now they were together and had been for about three months.

Harry actually didn't like Jessie, he just never told Y/N that. It was one of the bigger secrets he was hiding from his best friend, that and the fact that he was head over heels in love with her.

He realised his small crush long ago after Y/N had spent weeks at Harry's house helping him out when his parents divorced. She came to his house every single day for weeks straight just to keep him company so he didn't have to think about the problems his parents were facing.

He tried really hard to get rid of these feelings but no matter what he did they always grew stronger. Soon enough, he just had to accept the fact that he was in love with his best friend but couldn't tell her about it.

"Are you looking forward to Jessie's birthday party Harry?" Y/N grins as they walk around the supermarket buying last minute supplies for Jessie's birthday party Y/N had spent many months planning.

It was at a roller skating rink and a seventies disco theme which Y/N knew Jessie would love. Everyone had to come in disco outfits from the seventies.

"I'm excited bunny." Harry smiles, calling her the nickname he always called her.

"Oh, look at the rainbow Garland! We should put that on the entrance." She pushes the trolly over to the party decorations.

"Do you think Jessie will like all the colour?" Harry wonders.

"What do you mean?" Y/N pouts.

"Well she's not really a colourful person." He states.

"Hmm that's true, maybe we should go for just the black one then." Y/N nods, grabbing the black Garland from the shelf and putting it in the trolly.

"I really want this party to go well Harry." She sighs, nerves filling her mind at the thought of messing up an important day for her girlfriend.

Harry pushes his jealousy away and comforts his best friend, "It's going to be amazing Y/N."

The night of the party, Y/N had spent all afternoon gathering together food and drink for the night ahead. She had texted Jessie throughout the day with loving messages of 'happy birthday' and checking up on her.
