"I'm sorry it's not much expensive and a good ring. I see you purchased it already so we can use that ", said Anika and looked down because in front of Oberoi's they are nothing and the ring is not much costly as well. She doesn't want to feel insulted so before opening the ring she suggested?
"It's ok. It is your hard work so this ring is more precious than my one. So let me wear this one only", said Shivaay with a genuine smile. Anika passed a smile back to him. She used to think that his eyes are the most beautiful but day by day he is proving that his heart is more beautiful than his eyes. She just needs to understand him like his mother used to. Anika was impressed hearing his reply
"Thank you soo much", whispered Anika and held his hand in hers. A shiver ran through her body when his hand touched her's.
"Bhabhi now let him wear it and snatch bachelor tag", whispered Rudra near Anika's ears but Shivaay heard it
"Aacha hope you remember a person is still bachelor till marriage and wait and watch I will arrange your marriage as well", said Shivaay angrily. He can't stand as the cameraman was making his video and Anika was holding his hand otherwise he would have slapped him
"Bhabhi", cried Rudra dramatically looking towards Anika. Shivaay knew he is very much talented at making faces to melt someone's heart so he called Anika's name
"Anika look here and Rudra stop your drama here we are getting engaged", Shivaay said in a loud voice as he was irritated with Rudra's behaviour whereas Anika was smiling because his family accepted her already. When Rudra called her bhabhi she felt so happy from inside.
Anika looked towards Shivaay and nodded. Shivaay slipped the ring into her hand. Everyone clapped and the happiest was dadi because her billu was finally engaged
"God bless you both", blessed dadi with a smile and forwarded sweets towards them. Shivaay made faces and took one gulab jamun from the plate. Anika took one as well but with a smile. She noticed Shivaay's expression and understood that he doesn't like sweets
"Now feed each other", ordered dadi. Shivaay rolled his eyes and feed Anika. She ate and then forward her hand but Shivaay took a little bit and stood up
"Is it enough now?", He asked. Anika looked towards him being shocked that why he stood up suddenly
"What? ", Asked dadi
"I have one work dadi. I need to go. I will come here after an hour", he said and turned to go but dadi stopped him
"Puttar but Anika?... At least leave work for today. It's your engagement", pleaded dadi but Shivaay denied
"I am sorry dadi. And regarding Anika so I will take her with me after an hour don't worry", replied Shivaay and went from there
Omru sat near Anika and started laughing
"Haha bhabhi, he is like that only. He was shy, haha and bhabhi do you know he can't hug?", asked Om with a laugh
Anika giggled hearing him and shooked her head
(In reality, I don't think esa hota hai vese. Because everyone knows how to hug)
"Nahi I just got to know that now", replied Anika
"He is weird I never met a guy like him", said Anika genuinely as he is opposite from other boys she met. He is someone whom no one can understand. Sometimes he respects rituals and at the same time he leaves like it was nothing
"Yes bhabhi and you will not get anyone like him he is one in million", said Rudra and started laughing
"Indeed bhabhi day by day you will see his different side. sometimes even we fail to understand his mood ", said Om
Anika laughed more they all started talking without noticing the time. In an hour the trio made a good bond. Omru liked her company and was happy that Anika is going to become a part of this family they appreciated her work too
"Aur bhabhi bhaiya's height hahaha", laughed Rudra Anika noticed that Shivaay was coming from behind. She widened her eyes and held Rudra's hand as Shivaay glared at her to keep quiet
Om sensed something wrong and looked back to see Shivaay there. He was shocked when Rudra started making fun of him more
"And bhabhi in school he used to stay away from girls, haha and I was lady killer. There was one point na that most of the girls were taller than him somewhere you too and you can't wear heels as well", he said. He thought Anika will laugh but Anika was not reacting. She was just pressing his hand.
"What bhabhi? Laugh na", he pleaded and pulled the cry-baby face. Anika knew he was gone so she pulled her hand back
"I will laugh tell more about me", replied Shivaay and held his shoulders. Rudra jumped from his place after hearing Shivaay's voice. He thought Shivaay will take more time but he came so early
"B...bhaiya", he fumbled and joined his hands in front of Shivaay
"Bhaiya sorry that was a joke. Just for Fun", cried Rudra dramatically and ran from there. Shivaay was about to chase him but Anika held his hand
"Leave him. He was not serious", Anika told. Shivaay removed her hand and looked toward Om
"Tell him I will see him later", warned Shivaay and eyed Anika to come
"Really it..", she tried explaining to him but he showed his hand
"Did I ask? Just come with me now", Shivaay said in a cold voice. Anika nodded as this time she thought he is angry and agreeing with him was the best option whereas Shivaay was not serious instead he understood that his brother would be joking to make the environment light
"Where are you going?", Asked Om
"Where you asked me to take her", Told Shivaay and asked her to reach downstairs. Anika nodded and went from there giving them time
"Ohh aacha", replied Om but looked back at him with shock when Shivaay told the place
"Office", Shivaay said
"You are mad Shivaay. After showing her office you can have some time alone in some restaurant ", suggested Om angrily. He was now irritated with his brother's behaviour
"Am I looking like a fool who will ask her to eat with me in the canteen that too in front of the whole staff?", Asked Shivaay when he understood his imagination.
"You can do that too. Anyways bhabhi must be waiting to go. We will talk later", replied Om and pushed him out of the room to hide embarrassment for asking this question. Shivaay left from there after rolling his eyes
