Harry's POV
My first class was Business and Public Law in the main building of the school. I walked in and all the desks were on side side of the room from the bottom leading all the way up almost what seemed to be the ceiling. It was a large class and I had no idea where to sit. There was still ten minutes until class started.
I decided to sit around the middle of the long array of desks. As I climbed up the stairs, I felt like millions of pairs of eyes were staring at me. It was probably my lilac jumper I had on. Hopefully nobody gets any wrong ideas about me. This probably wasn't the best choice of attire for the first day.
There weren't many seats towards the center of the tower of desks besides one next to this girl. I had no other choice but to sit there. If I wanted to actually pay attention and be able to focus, I had to sit here. Hopefully she doesn't think weird of me for sitting here out of all the other available seats.
"Excuse me," I tap on her shoulder, "This seat isn't taken, is it?" I sure hope not, all the good seats are taken.
"No," the polite girl smiles up at me, "Go right ahead."
"Thank you." I put my notebook and laptop down and take a seat. I pull my phone out and check my text messages.

How about lunch after class? From: Liv <3
Maybe. Depends where my next class will be. Its not like high-school anymore :(To: Liv <3
I know, but I'll see you then anyway. gtg. I love you. x.I lock my phone and put it in back in my pocket. The professor walks in and he takes his seat at his desk.
"Good morning class welcome to Business and Public Law." He says very monotone and blunt. "My name is Professor Harris and I expect you to call me Professor Harris. Not Mr. Harris. Not Mr. H and most definitely do not call me teacher. I am a college professor, upper class of all of the teachers you had in high school. And as young college adults, I expect nothing but respect and I want all your attention during my lectures. There will be no slacking off in my classroom, if you can't handle the heat the door is open and make sure to not hit yourself on the way out. Have I made myself clear?"
Everybody nods.
"Good." He walks to the front of his desk. "Get out your syllabus and let's get started shall we?"
"He's very intimidating isn't he?" I tell the girl next to me.
She laughs, "try being is grand-daughter."
My eyes widen, "you're kidding?"
"Swear." She laughs. "It's very intimidating for me especially but you gotta get on his good side. Just don't kiss up to him, he doesn't like that."
"I'll take that into consideration, thanks." I tip my head. "My names Harry by the way."
"I'm Ellie," She sticks her hand out and I shake it.
