Harry's POV
To be completely honest, I was pretty stunned about what she said. I mean what the hell is that supposed to mean? I don't even exactly know what it's supposed to really mean, but it actually did kind of hurt.
"What do you mean that's who I am?" I question and she looks guilty for what she just said.
"What I meant is that you love parties. I mean you went to every party in high school, so I kind of figured you weren't going to turn this one down. I mean, college is all about parties, right?" She says.
"So is that what you think this is? That I'm going to spend my entire time here at parties?" I frown at her.
"You're twisting my words, Harry." Her tone of voice raises. "I didn't mean that."
"Then what did you mean?" My tone of voice becomes louder to over power hers.
"I already told you what I meant." She yells, "Why are we arguing about this?"
"Who said we were arguing?" I yell back.
"You're yelling!" She shouts at me.
"Only because you're yelling at me!" I argue back.
She sighs and sits on her bed in anger. "Fine, then I won't go if it upsets you that much. I didn't mean it the way you thought I did, okay." She gets up from her bed and walks over to me.
"I overreacted." I shake my head.
"Yeah," she says and then laughs.
"I'm sorry. I guess it just bothered me that you agreed to go without telling me, and because I told everyone I would stay in because I wanted to be with you." I look at the floor feeling so foolish.
"Well I agreed to go because I kind of felt like you would be excited to go too and I wanted to be with you as well." She pushes my hair back and smiles at me.
I look at her beautiful brown eyes and the way her lips curve into that beautiful smile I love. How did I get so lucky? Someone so understanding and amazingly beautiful. I tell myself a thousand times I don't deserve her, but at the same time I do.
"Do you really want to go to that party?" I ask her.
"Only if you want to." She rubs the sides of my arms. I know she wants to but won't go if I don't.
"I'll come back for you at seven." I kiss her forehead and head for the door.
"Are you two done?" Tia says as I walk out. She's sitting in the hallway by the door with her hair in a mess.
"Have you been sitting there the entire time?" I look down and laugh.
"Yes and my hair is frizzy. Thanks Harry, now I'm going to suffer with all these fucking tangles." She gets up and walks into her room.
"Sorry." I laugh.
Marcel's POV
"Marcel you have to go." Veronica tells me through the phone. I called her again to make sure she was sure and could possibly talk me out of going.
"I'm not going just so we can be even." I sigh and lay on my bed.
"I already told you, it's not about being even. You need to have a little fun before every once in a while. Come on, stop worrying and go."
I did get dressed, well sort of. I stopped midway then called Veronica. I really don't want to go but everyone is going so I guess it won't be that bad.
