Harry's POV
"So what are we going to do? We can't call mum or dad, they'll freak out!" Marcel says. It's almost 3 in the morning and I hope nobody comes wondering why we are out here.
"I know!" I yell. I don't mean to but this whole situation is stressing me out.
"Harry calm down," Olivia holds my arm, "it's going to be okay."
"The police officer said that the only way Edward can be bailed out is if that guy doesn't press charges and we won't know until he's recovered from the beating Edward gave him," Veronica states.
Marcel looks concerned, "..and I wouldn't be surprised if he did. I mean, he beat him up really bad."
"Money isn't the issue even if he presses charges, but it will go on his record and he will get kicked out of uni." I tell them. "There's only one person who can make this better."
"Who?" Olivia asks.
"You," I point my finger at Tia, "you have to go talk to your friend and beg him to not press charges on Edward."
"Do you really think that what I say to Andy will change anything?" Tia argues, "Edward almost beat him to death!"
"Figure it out!" I yell.
"Harry please," Olivia pleads, tears forming in her eyes.
"If you really do love my brother, you will do anything to keep him from getting kicked out. I know he can be an asshole but this could be the end of a future he planned to have." I reassure her. She seems to understand, but who knows, Tia is just as stubborn as Edward is.
"We all just need to go to sleep," Olivia holds my arm, "there isn't anything we can do right now. We have to wait until morning comes. Visiting hours at the hospital begin at 6 first thing, I'll take Tia, if you're willing?" Tia nods to Olivia.
"I can't sleep," I say, "I just want my brother out of jail." I pull away and walk away from the group.
Olivia's POV
I've been texting Harry ever since he left the group, but no answer. Tia and I walked by ourselves to our dorm in complete silence. The thought of not being able to do anything to help her really upsets me. I don't exactly know what happened and I'm afraid to ask.
We make it to our dorm safely, and luckily the dorm advisor didn't hear us. I opened the door and Tia immediately goes into the bathroom. I kick my shoes off and sit at my desk. I don't think I'll be able to sleep knowing Harry is upset and isn't sleeping either. I decide to do some homework since the possibility of me sleeping is unlikely tonight.
"What are you doing?" Tia says coming out of the bathroom, changed into different clothes.
"Homework," I say quietly.
"Liv, go to sleep," she says. The sound of her voice notifies me that she's been crying all night, my back faced to her. I can hear her getting into bed.
"Can't," I try to do this homework but I can't focus either. Knowing that Harry is upset and I can't really do anything about it.
I look over at the clock and it's almost half passed four. I stress even more knowing I have to take Tia to the hospital first thing so she can meet up with the guy Edward almost killed.
"You should go to sleep," I tell her, "you need to be able to function properly tomorrow morning in order to talk to that guy."
"I can't sleep," she whimpers, "I can't sleep knowing that Edward is in jail and it's my fault, or at least he thinks it is. It kind of is." She is so unsure of herself.
