(NOTE: Everything in here is going to made up! Like the college they are going to isn't real, and it's fiction so 99% of the places they go to is fictional and I made it up lol)
Harry's POV
"What the fuck!" Edward shouts after I flip his inflatable pool bed with the pool net.
"Having fun?" I laugh.
"I was relaxing," He climbs back up very angry, and soaking wet, "I'm trying to have a good summer but so far, neither you or Marcel are letting that happen."
"Well I'm here to make it worse for you by saying," I take a long dramatic pause.
"What?" He frowns.
"Oh hell no," Edward says to dad. Dad stares at him and his pink towel his wrapped with.
"You all have to go visit the college you'll be attending," Dad can never eat his breakfast in peace with us.
We've been out of school since May and it's already the end of June. Dad wants to have a big fourth of July party. I remind him all the time that we are in England and people don't do that here. Dad is half American, from his fathers side, so he feels that we need to celebrate American traditions here as well.
"It's only two days," dad says, "plus, you'll be back in time for the big party."
"Dad no one celebrates the fourth of July here," Edward rolls his eyes, "that's actually really damn offensive because those shits dumped our damn tea in the harbour."
"Wow," I pat his back, "you did pay attention in school."
"No I actually googled it just now," he holds up his phone and makes me less proud of him.
"Well your grandad is coming and he expects a nice party," dad is getting pissed.
"And who are you planning to invite? The british army?" Edward laughs, "they'll bomb our house."
"I'm about to loose my patience with you both," he puts his knife and fork down, "your grandad is not flying all the way from Los Angeles to come to a disaster."
"I thought he lived in Chicago?" I question.
"He moved, he is a very busy man at the age of 75 and we can't spoil this," he says.
"Why didn't he come for Thanksgiving?" Edward ask, "did the pilgrims keep him busy?" I can't help but laugh at Edwards poor American jokes.
"You're more british than American dad," I tell him, "stop trying so hard."
"I'm only doing this for your grandad," he sighs, "trust me, I wouldn't be this worried if it weren't for him."
"Is grandma coming?" Edward asks.
"No," he shakes his head.
"Just because they divorced like 20 years ago, doesn't mean she can't come."
"I invited her but she said that she'd be upsetting the Queen with such untraditional tactics," Dad chuckles, "she's the most English woman I will ever know."
"Well when will we see our nan, it's been too long," I say, "except the time she had her nurse skype us on our birthdays."
"Nan," Marcel laughs, "darling can you see us?"
"What?" she grunts, "hello? Hello..who is this?"
"Hello love," Edward smiles, "can you see us?"
"How did you get in there loves? This is crazy Nancy," she tells her nurse, "hello?"
"Nan, it's us," I tell her, "Harry, Edward and Marcel. We're calling you from home."
