Percy stood silent, glaring at the boy who stood opposite him, as a crowd gathered behind him, curious to know who he was looking at.
"Hey, Annabeth. It's been a while, hasn't it?" He looked her up and down while running a hand through his hair.
"Don't talk to her." Percy sneered.
"Shame you couldn't have stayed longer last time." He said, ignoring Percy. "We could have gotten to know each other if you know what I mean." He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
"That's it!" Percy lurched forward, but Annabeth pulled him back.
"Not yet Percy," Annabeth whispered to him. Percy grunted but reluctantly paced behind Annabeth.
"Now, that's not fair. How come you got the Avengers and not us?"
"Maybe it's because you're an obnoxious brat or maybe it's because you kidnapped my step-sister and her husband. Who knows?"
"Mr. Stark? Sally's your step-sister? Wow, did not see that coming. What a bonus, am I right sis?"
"Your right brother."
"What do you want with Sally?" Annabeth asked.
"Oh, I don't want anything with Sally." The boy replied. "I want Percy. Or, more importantly, I want what Percy can do for me."
"And what exactly can I do for you?" Percy asked in contentment.
"My dad wants his job back."
Percy scoffed. "Ok, well I have questions. First, how am I meant to do that? And second, who even is your dad?"
"Oceanus, the titan of the sea."
Percy stumbled back.
"You see," The girl chimed in. "Daddy says that you are the only one who can defeat Poseidon and get his job back."
"Yeah, apparently you are the only one strong enough to do it. I don't see it, but whatever."
"Ummm... Percy, can I talk to you for a minute?" Annabeth dragged Percy out of earshot from the enemy. Percy, Tony, and the others gathered around.
"Ok, I have a plan." Annabeth started. "F.R.I.D.A.Y., can you scan the area and find out where Paul and Sally are?"
"Starting scan now."
"Frank, you stay with Tony. When F.R.I.D.A.Y. tells us where they are, you turn into a bee or something and go and help them. Get any bondages off of them, but tell them to stay there." Frank nodded. "Nico, how are you feeling?"
"Much better after that nap," Nico replied.
"Ok, when Frank gets back, shadow travel and retrieve them. Once they are here, those guys have no leverage. That when we get them. The rest of us have to keep them busy until they get back." Everyone nodded. Frank, Nico, and Tony ran around to a tent and the others ran to different places to confuse the enemy, giving instructions to different campers, but making sure not to make too much of a ruckus.
"What going on?" The boy called.
"Nothing much. Just needed to discuss what was going on with your hair." Percy smirked. "So, tell me Jordan, how am I, a demigod, meant to defeat my dad, a god?"
