I walked Annabeth back to her cabin and gave her another kiss before she silently ran inside. I quickly and quietly walked back to my cabin. I laid in my bed thinking about Annabeth for hours. When I finally got to sleep, the nightmares kicked in pretty quickly.

I was staggering through the bare lands of Tartarus. Monsters coming at me, left, right, and centre. This time Annabeth wasn't with me. Neither was Bob. I didn't have anyone to get me through. My body ached, Riptide was dragging along the ground. I collapsed to my knees, knowing there was nothing I could do to escape. These curses were slowing eating their way through my body.

Then suddenly, I was on the corner of a street. I couldn't read the street name as it was too dark, but I could hear voices shouting from a distance.

"Let me down, you big oaf." It sounded like my mum. I ran forwards, but I couldn't find her. I tried to call out, but my voice wouldn't work. I had no idea where I was, or where I would have to look. It was too dark to make out any landmarks. There weren't any streetlights, which was strange. Probably a country road. Then my mum shouted out again. "Percy! If you can hear me, we're in Rus..." Then my dream got cut off.

"Russia," I shouted as I sat up.

"What?" Annabeth asked as she stood above me.

"My parents are in Russia," I explained. I told her about my dream.

"I'm glad my dream was a short one," I said as I removed my top.

"Percy, your chest is so much worse." Annabeth pointed out. She was right. There was now no skin on my chest that didn't have a scar.

I quickly put another top on. "It's nothing. Forget it, let's go and eat." I walked over to the door of my cabin and held it open for her. She gave me a worried look as she walked out. "Tell you what," I said while taking her hand in mine. "I'll go for a swim about half an hour after breakfast. Don't want to get ingestion."

"Come on Seaweed Brain," She laughed. "Race ya," She ran off to the dining pavilion with me in tow.

I hated eating in the dining pavilion. Annabeth and I could never sit together. And I was always on my own, but I had blue waffles and bacon so I wasn't too upset. Besides, it's always good to give your girlfriend some space now and then. Right?

After breakfast, Annabeth walked me over to the beach. "I believe you need to go for a swim."

"But it hasn't been half an hour. I might get a stomach ache." I moaned while pulling her into me.

"Oh, boo hoo, Son of Poseidon. The water will ease the pain. Now get." She pushed me away and pointed to the sea. "Go on, get."

I walked towards the ocean but stopped before I reached it and turned to look at Annabeth with my best puppy dog eyes. She just stood there with her arms crossed. I laughed at her and then commanded the waves to surf me out deeper before allowing them to settle and falling into the sea. I expect that earnt me an eye roll and shake of the head from my WiseGirl.
