Chapter 4

Renae.

I woke up a little refreshed and went in the shower. I thought about how august say don't be afraid to wear the new clothes. I decided i was going to. I got out and dried off putting on my underwear and bra and also my lotion. I went in my closet and decided to wear :my blue loose T-shirt, dark washed jeans, and myJordan 3's sport blues. I looked in the mirror and let my hair stay down. I got my purse and put some things in there. I added some gloss and a little eye-shadow but now I feel like I shouldn't have wore this. I sighed once I saw the text from august saying he outside. I got my ID and threw my backpack on my shoulder. I yelled bye to my mom and walked out. August looked up and smiled taking my hand

"You looked beautiful" he said. I smiled

"Thanks but are you sure about this " I said.

"Positive baybeh girl" he said. I nodded as he opened my door helping me in before closing it and jogging to the driver seat. I messed with the radio before the song I liked came on. August started the car laughing at me

"You don't know nothing about this" I said.

"Nah you don't" he said. I laughed and he put his hand on my thigh as he drove. His touch drove me crazy yall like real talk. Once we pulled up to school I became nervous again. He pulled up into his original parking spot and got out jogging to my side opening the door. He looked at me and held out his hand. I grabbed it and got out slowly.

"Its alright renae fuck them " he said closing the door and holding my hand. I saw everyone staring when we walked in. I heard a lot of "who she" "that's his new chick" or " she look familiar" .. I sighed as I got a whole bunch of stares from this one girl. We approached my locker and he waited for me.

"Was it that hard" he asked leaning against the locker.

"Nope except the comments I heard" I said.

"Its common but I just block them out" he said grabbing my waist as I leaned on my locker. I smiled looking at him

"I'll just follow you" I said. He nodded leaning down kissing my cheek and grabbing my books out of my hand. I smiled again as he walked me to class. I did as he said and block the comments as we talked. Once I got to my class well his too. I grabbed my books

"I'll see you later" he said.

"You should just come with me instead of being late" I said pouting. He chuckled.

"Butt you know what nvm " he said opening the handle as we walked in.

"Wow Mr.Alsina your not late" Mrs. Harper said. He sucked his teeth lowly

"Whatever" he mumbled. I kissed his cheek as I went and sat on my side of the classroom. Right before the bell had runged his friends came in.

"Wow this is a miracle" Mrs. Harper said. I giggled lowly as the whole class laughed.

"Okay class today we are doing a project and I decided to let y'all pick your partners" she squealed. I sighed as everyone started moving

"Hey august wanna be my partner" I think I heard Alex say.

"Nah I'm good" he said before he pulled a chair next to me.

"You wanna work with me" I said . he nodded.

"Yes why wouldn't I" he said.

"Mhm probably just wanna talk " I said. He laughed.

"Maybe but with you doe" he said. I laughed then sighed putting my head down as Alex came over.

"Hey august and whatever your name is" she said. I looked up and it was like she seen a ghost.

"Renae" she said disgusted.

"Hello" I said smiling. She scoffed looking at Aug.

"Auggie com---

"Wait the fuck don't call me that and I told you I don't wanna fucking work with you. Your so annoying damn" he said. She gasped as his response and turned flipping her nappy ass weave walking back to her so called friends. I giggled and Aug looked at me

"Can I call you Auggiebear" I said pinching his cheeks. He swatted my hands away. I laughed

"Hell no it sound gay" he said. I laughed.

"But it sound cute to me" I said grabbing his face. He staled face me and I laughed.

"You play to much" he said.

"We need to start on this project" I said reading the paper she placed on our desk. Oh this not even hard.

"What's it about" he asked while on his phone.

"Just doing research on video games" I said. He looked up

"Oh that's easy" he said putting his phone away.

"You gonna sit with me at lunch " he asked. I bit my lip

"Idk" I said. He pouted.

"Please baybehhhh" he said. I cooed at his accent.

"Fine" I said. He smiled kissing my cheek. I smiled as we finally decided to work on our project.

I laughed as august hand was wrapped securely around my shoulder as we walked to the lunch room

"Stop you nasty" I said laughing. He smiled and as usual all eyes were on us.

"I'm so serious doe take that ass in the car" he said. I bust out laughing. I wasn't that hungry today so I just got fries and something to drink and of course august paid for me -_- .

"What's up y'all" august said sitting down and pulling me with him. I pouted.

"Wassup Aug and..." Chris said. Can he not recognize me.

"You don't know me" I said.

"Do it look like it" he said sarcasticly

"Renae" I said in a duh tone..

"Foreal you look different " he said.

"Your actually being nice" I mumbled. I saw august give him a look

"Oh and sorry about the names and shit" he said.

"Its good " I said smiling..

"Oh but this ty, Chris, trey, and Brian" august said. I smiled.

"This renae" I said pointing to me. They laugh. After some talking I found out they really cool and funny. Alex sat on Chris laugh and he scrunched his face up.

"Bitch you smell like fish" he said pushing her off. the whole table bust out laughing.

"you dont know what your missing out on" she said smiling

"oh yeah your head" he said smiling. she gasped running out of the cafeteria.

"big ole meanie" i said wiping my eyes from the tears.aug put his hand on my thigh as he continued talking t his friend but i grabbed his hand and he looked at me and smiled before turning again.
