Taehyung was sitting comfortably on the carpeted floor of the living room, TV running quietly in the background, while he was coloring in his coloring book; looking at the TV screen every now and then.

Jungkook on the other hand, was occupied with making some pancakes as their evening snack, before it'd be the younger's bedtime, humming softly as he flipped the pancake and smiled at its brown-golden shade, perfect.

Their day was pretty eventless, with them spending most of the day at home since the weather was all rainy and cloudy, which would usually set Taehyung in a gloomy mood, but today seemed to be an exception.

The younger was giggly and playful all day long, playing games with Jungkook or by himself when the older had to work through some paperwork, taking a nap like every day, having his favorite meal for lunch, which contains dinosaur nuggets and fries.

All in all he had been a good boy.

Jungkook sighed in relief when he finally flipped the last pancake onto the stake of the other ones, turning off the stove and quickly cleaning up the kitchen so he'd have to only put their used dishes into the dishwasher.

He opened the fridge and took out some strawberries, cutting them neatly into eatable pieces and placing them into a small bowl for his baby to take as much as he wished, maple syrup and chocolate syrup were a must whenever they had pancakes.

"Baby, come here. The pancakes are done." Jungkook called from the kitchen, setting up the kitchen's island with plates and knives and forks, even though he knew Taehyung liked to eat with his hands, he still wanted to give him the choice if he wanted to use the cutlery.

Taehyung came running into the kitchen, eyes big and smile blinding with excitement, making Jungkook smile just as bright.

"No running, Baby, you know that."

"M'sorry Kookie. TaeTae just really likes pancakes." Taehyung responded, a soft pout lingering on his plump lips, blinking with his eyes cutely, innocently.

"It's all good, Angel. I know, sit, sit quickly so you can enjoy them." Jungkook assured and reached for the younger's plate to lay a pancake on it.

"Thank you, Kookie." Taehyung sing-songed, wiggling happily and put some strawberries and chocolate syrup all over the sweet treat.

"You're very welcome, Sweetheart.." Jungkook mumbled as he finally dug in himself.

He liked his pancake mostly plain, except for some drizzle of maple syrup, humming at the sweetness pleasuring his tongue.
