Nik, Bekah and I were in the ballroom on the phone with Elijah though Bekah was starting at her portrait.

"That was not my chin, Nik. It was much more delicate." she commented starting at the portrait.

"The only delicate thing about you, sister , is your ego." Nik retorted and I snorted in amusement.

"Placed beside the behemoth size of yours, certainly." I bit my lip as to not start laughing.

"Could we dispense with this fascinating dispute for a moment  and return to the subject of our supposed long lost sister?" Elijah sighed from over the phone which was on speaker.

"There's not much to discuss, Elijah. Said she was Freya then darted off into the night." Bekah answered

"You believed her?" Elijah wondered

"I met the girl in a mystical looney bin. She could be anyone telling any lie. But she did seem familiar somehow." she answered

"Then how is she still alive?" Nik questioned and i slapped my hand against my forehead "A question as ridiculous as its possible solutions given this family's annoying predilection for cheating death." he corrected himself.

"I don't know. I'm just telling you what she said." Bekah rebuffed

"Did you happen to ask if by some similar miracle, our Aunt Dahlia lives as well." Nik wondered. The two started to argue.

"Once! You two have quite finished." I broke them up "If she is who she says she is, we'll find out soon enough. For now the priority remains the same that no one learns of Daniel's and Hope's existence. This has been our salvation so far."

"Unless Hayley's husband to be starts flapping his gums. Maybe I should take the promotion and separate him from his head" Nik comments

"Jackson is no longer a threat unless he has a death wish. He wouldn't jeopardise the wedding." I retort

"Hayley's getting married? What else did I miss?" Bekah huffed

"So much, B, so much." I chuckle tapping her shoulder.

"Beth! Bethany!" I hear Nik shouting. I sped in and folded my arms

"You do know i can hear you right? I'm not hard of hearing. What is the matter now?" I sigh knowing something was going on as usual, we could rarely catch a break.

"Finn has Marcel." he told me and I pinched the bridge of my nose.

"Why?" I wonder

"I don't know where they are, what they're doing or what specifically to do about it." he seethed "This family makes me want to murder people." he huffs

"I see my timing is as impeccable as usual." I heard Kol and turn on my heal

"Well, the traitor thinks he can just waltz in here like he's welcome." Nik retorts

"Niklaus! Enough!" I scowl at him then walk over wrapping my arms around him he returns it.

"At least someone doesn't want to kill me."

"As gracious as your apology better be you're still getting one hell of a slap." Rebekah seethes

"No!" i turn and protect him "He's an idiot but we have enough sibling dram to deal with than this pettiness."

"I'm okay, Beth." he assures and steps out "I understand the irony of what I'm about to say. But I cam here because I need your help." my eyebrows furrowed

"Figure out how to undo your body swap then we can talk about your help." Bekah rebuff

"Kol." i take his hand making him look at me "What's wrong?" my voice was soft and attentive. He may do some stupid things but I cared for him.

"Finn has locked me in this body. No more jumping. He's put a curse on me. I am dying." he told me and I felt a piece of me crack as the news soaked in. He looked at his brother and sister then scoffed "You don't believe me."

"You're hardly the champion of truth telling."  Nik retorts.

"Of course why would a brother expect his siblings to leap to his aid." Kol commented

"You're not dying, you can't die, you're Kol freaking Mikaelson." I deny shaking my head

"Oh, spare me the pity party, Kol. Your recent actions merit a certain allowance for disbelief." Nik replied

"Look I know what I've done. But I won't apologise for trying to pull one over on you. You deserved it. But I don't deserve to die. Certainly not at the hands of my own family." he walked over to his sister and Nik pulled him back.

"What kind of con are you playing?" Nik questioned

"The con I hate the most. The truth." I moved to step in between them protectively in front of Kol.

"He's not lying." Bekah spoke up "Even as a boy, Kol never lied once called out on the act. He may play dirty pool but he's not lying." I watched as Nik stepped away.

"Nik, I was helping Marcel for Davina. Finn has got him. He's trying to get a secret out of him. Something he thinks Marcel knows about you. I think he's trying find the truth out about my nieces and nephew." Kol spoke

"He know's...Beth?"  Bekah complained. I shrug at her

"Marcel doesn't know anything." Nik replies to his brother and Kol put his hands on my shoulders.

"Well, you better hope that's true. Because believe me Finn has the means to rip it out of him." he warned us.
