with the sunshine beams sneaking onto the curtains, haewon woke up gracefully as she rose up on the bed she was in.
she remembered herself getting scared of the thunderstorm. she had faced traumatic incidents with it, specifically the time of her car accident.
yawning, she felt that the bed she was sitting on was foreign, the texture of the bed cover felt new to her and as she slowly opened her eyes, blinking away her sleepiness. she realizes that she's not even at her room at all.
"what the- where am i?" she panicked as she looked at the gray walls with modern paintings, the room looked clean and it was very..modern.
"haewon, think, haewon thi-" she then got cut off by the very voice she didn't even expect.
"you're in my room haewon"
her eyes widened as she got stuck on her position, completely struggling to put words together as she used her index finger trying to explain everything to her very own brain. "this? is your room? me? i, lee haewon, is in your room? as in i'm in lee donghyuck's room? nct's leader lee donghyuck? room? what? how does this make sense? eh?"
donghyuck bit his lips, trying to suppress the laughter that was threatening to come out of his mouth. haewon was adorable and her reaction was beyond entertaining, she made the stone cold, lee donghyuck laugh even if he didn't show it directly.
"uhm hyuck? how did i get here?" she warily said as she kept playing with her fingers and biting her lips, she was scared that she might've done something embarrassing.
"you were crying and you passed out when you saw me, i didn't know that i had that effect on you, sunshine, it was amusing to see"
donghyuck smiled remembering her words as she cried before she completely went to bed, holding tight onto him as their bodies were pressed together "please stay, don't leave me"
flashback (earlier morning)
donghyuck woke up and he immediately felt the hand that's draped around his waist, the leg that was tangled with his own, and the head that was placed on top of his chest.
his arm was also behind the girls's back, as he held onto him protectively and tightly, with his head leaning onto hers. it was so comfortable, it was so warm, donghyuck secretly loved the feeling.
he stared at the girl, observing her beauty. she was prettier when she's near, her peaceful state somehow calmed donghyuck down.
"i can't believe i threatened to kill her before, i must've gone insane" he thought, slowly becoming aware of how attached he was to the girl that was sleeping beside him, it wasn't that bad after all, attachment, it feels good and warm to him and he very much loved it.
feeling once again sleepy, he closed his eyes. he wasn't able to sleep early yesterday as he was worried for haewon, he kept reassuring if she's alright. so when he closed his eyes, he immediately fell into a deep sleep seconds later.
a knock then can be heard but as donghyuck and haewon were sleeping tightly, they were unaware of the visitor they had.
"oh dude this is so sick" the boy said as he grabbed his phone and took at the two people who were cuddling themselves to sleep.
"mark, hurry up taeyong hyung is calling you"
