a loud crash was heard as donghyuck and haewon turned around only to see the building being bombarded. gunshots can be heard and haewon got scared, there was this familiar scene but she just couldn't remember it.
soon enough, donghyuck got a hold of her hand and haewon got flustered by the sudden contact, she was blushing as hell but wouldn't make it obvious and still, she was scared of the things that are happening right now.
they both ran inside while taking cover to avoid gunshots.
when they arrived, they saw the boys gearing up and chenle was about to go outside to fetch haewon, which took him in surprise when he saw donghyuck.
"oh there you are haewon with donghyuck hyung....holding hands" chenle felt like laughing but a glare from donghyuck made him refrain from doing so. again, donghyuck is intimidating and scares the hell out of chenle or anyone to be honest.
"what's happening?" donghyuck asked the other boys as they looked at each other.
"we're being attacked" jisung said as he sighed, he doesn't know why they were being attacked in the first place, it just happened suddenly.
"we have to take her to the main headquarters hyuck" jaemin said as he looked at haewon, her mouth was open due to shock and her eyes were widened.
"they planted a bomb here somewhere" jisung said as he looked around the building, the machine on his hand was beeping.
"how did you know, jisung?" jaemin asked as he looked at the youngest with a confused look drawn on his face.
"i have an explosive detector" jisung said as he showed them the tool that he made for certain emergencies like this.
"let's get out of here guys" donghyuck demanded the boys as they all nodded except for chenle who was still trying to process what he had just said.
"we're not gonna fight back?" chenle asked as he looked around the place, they basically grew up in this place and if they don't fight back, lots of memories will go down to waste.
"what's the use of fighting back when they already planted bombs around this place, chenle?" donghyuck squabbled back as he glared once again at chenle who seemed intimidated by his gaze.
"point taken"
"you all go first" jeno said as he looked at renjun, jisung, and haewon. haewon was still confused as to what's happening, she doesn't know anything about a gang, she just knows that they are vicious and brings a lot of danger.
"what about you guys?" haewon asked in a soft voice, yes they were vicious and dangerous, but she still cared for them. they helped her and gave her another chance to live, so the best thing to do is thank them and return the favor.
"don't worry haewon, we'll be at your tail"

they arrived at the main headquarters and for real, it is bigger than the dream headquarters. she stared at the photo and it showed 21 boys, they all looked so peaceful, so happy, and so young.
then once they arrived at the hall, they were greeted by seven boys, each and every one of them looked intimidating and none of them were familiar to her except for one person.
"haewon?" mark asked as he engulfed haewon into a hug, glad that she's safe.
"what are you doing here, mark?" haewon asked as she looked at mark wide-eyed. maybe this was the gang he was in.
"what are YOU doing here, haewon?" mark asked, confused as to why she was here. why were the dreamies here?
"looks like marky's got a girlfriend" jaehyun snickered and laughed at the boy, somehow feeling proud that mark has a girlfriend.
"she-she's not my girlfriend guys" mark retorted, it was weird. when someone calls you and your sibling a couple. haewon stood there awkwardly as mark held onto her protectively.
"is she your wife?" yuta said, in a voice that sounded like he was hurt or something.
"SHE'S MY SISTER" mark shouted just to control everyone out who was rumbling that he was too young to have a wife and on how could he start a family in such a young age.
"i thought you didn't have a sister... well not anymore at least"
"JOHNNY" taeyong yelled as he smacked johnny's head, he knew that mark would actually get hurt when they talk about minah.
"what?" johnny asked as he looked at taeyong in a slightly scared face. if donghyuck was intimidating, taeyong was on another level, he looked VERY intimidating.
"you know mark's sensitive when it comes to that topic" taeyong whispered to johnny who nodded, he thought that he was being too insensitive and he somehow felt bad.
"oh yeah...i'm sorry mark" johnny apologized as he gave mark a bro hug and smiled at him dearly, guilt is detectable on his face.
"it's okay hyung and she's my adoptive sister, lee haewon" mark said as he smiled at them all and introduced haewon to the boys as they all cooed at her cuteness.
"she's cute" jungwoo said as he got nearer. he was the kindest of all, he was the same as winwin but winwin is in china with wayv. haewon stifled a laugh and showed off her gummy smile, maybe they weren't as bad as she had thought.
"and wow that gummy smile is really similar to doyoung's" taeil said, pointing out her smile and smiling back at her. but then reality hit him and his smile dropped and looked at the dreamies who looked exhausted. "what happened? why are you all here hyuck?"
"the dreamies' headquarter got attacked. we'll be staying here from now on" donghyuck stated while going upstairs to his room.
the room was now filled with silence when donghyuck exited the room, he was cold, too cold.
"doyoung come here, we have guests" that name, that name gave haewon chills. it was as if she knew the name, it was ringing a memory but she can't portray the same exact one.
"who are they?" doyoung went to the living room from the kitchen, he was making them dinner "oh hi dreamies. and a girl?"
"wait" doyoung looked at haewon and narrowed his eyes, she somewhat looked familiar "i know you"
"you know her hyung?" mark asked, finding it interesting, he never knew that haewon could make friends on her own. meanwhile doyoung, doyoung was wondering in his cloud of thoughts and walking down his memory lane just to ring a bell on who she is.
after a lot of thinking, his smile dropped, his mouth felt agape, and his eyes widened due to shock. how could she be alive? where was she? how did this happen? is this all narrow coincidence?
