haewon wondered and wondered on what could mingi mean. she had no clue of course, she didn't know anything in her life before she was involved in the accident.
well she knew some things but not everything, as the doctor said, she needs something to trigger her memories and that's what happened with mingi and doyoung.
they helped her remember some bits of her life that she didn't know before and it helped her.
there were holes, a lot of holes, it's like it wasn't even her life, it was like she's just continuing someone else's life, as if her soul had just moved to the body and a only bit of her memories were retrieved.
it was now their second practice for prom and she just hoped that donghyuck will come as her partner.
she skipped down the stares but not happily though, she was zoning out since mingi's words didn't leave her mind and it made her beyond curious.
"hey aeyoung-ie" doyoung greeted his sister with a hug and a kiss on a temple and haewon smiled, if only she could remember their days when they were children rather than her worst memory, the daydoyoung killed their parents.
"hi oppa" she said and doyoung just looked at her sister, a worried look plastered on his face. his sister was oddly quiet today and her eyes were dull, you can clearly see the dark bags under her eyes.
"are you okay?" he asked, as he softly held his sister's face, examining it.
haewon just nodded and smiled slightly before going out, she was about to walk to their school with jaemin, jeno, and renjun.
"be careful aeyoung-ie, i love you!" doyoung said for the last time before haewon could close the door. after his bright words, haewon somehow cheered up as her gummy smile showed and the others coo-ed at her cuteness.
"i love you too oppa!"

"1, 2, 3. 1 , 2, 3" the choreographer yelled as she looked at the students, they were all quick to follow and at peace.
haewon was once again partnered with mingi since the both of them doesn't have partners yet. and to be honest, haewon was very worried about donghyuck, they haven't seen each other for two days, well at least she hasn't seen him in two days and haewon was genuinely worried.
"mingi" she called out to the tall boy and he immediately looked at haewon or whom he called nahee.
"yes nahee?" he asked and haewon was taken aback, she wasn't used to someone calling her nahee, mingi was the only one to call her that, but she just let it go and asked mingi her questions.
"what did you mean by 'boyfriend'?" she asked, still confused with the topic and the person.
"you really don't remember?" mingi asked back, he was shocked since they boy and haewon were practically inseparable.
"i don't" she responded and mingi just pursed his lips into a straight line before humming.
"what? how? you escaped with him" he didn't know how haewon would forget about the boy, they were like soulmates indeed.
haewon just stared at mingi, she thought very hard. with minutes of thinking hard, she didn't get anything, none of her memories seem to be familiar with a 'boyfriend' and she just sighed.
"i had amnesia and i have no clue" she said before looking at mingi and pouted, not the cute pout but the pout that seems worried.
"how did you remember me though?" mingi asked and haewon looked at mingi and stared at his deep brown eyes.
"you triggered a part of my memory" she said and twirled, as instructed by the teacher.
"so you remember?" mingi asked, he was wondering as to why haewon couldn't remember the boy that she loved the most, well some things do happen.
"partly, i just remember the time when i escaped. although i didn't see the boy's face" she said and mingi just nodded.
"oh i'm sorry then" he had no idea on how to help her remember the boy and to be honest, he has not even seen the boy's face, he just knew that they were together.
soon, the gym doors busted open, revealing a very angry and sweaty donghyuck. his uniform wasn't buttoned, his face was kinda sweaty, and his hair was messy.
but even though he looked like that, the girls found him hot and started staring and screeching. donghyuck frowned, he didn't like the attention he was receiving, he doesn't like girls since they randomly made him disgusted.
he searched for his partner and saw that she was with someone else. his blood boiled seeing someone take over his place, his partner. and he knew that it wasn't because of jealousy, it was pure madness.
haewon gulped as soon as she saw the angry donghyuck approaching her and mingi, she knew she has no control over him, whether he was calm or angry, he preferred being the boss.
"and who the fuck is in my place right now?"
