"Just get online, you know?" spoke Karl

"No, say it again."

"Can you please play when Corpse gets online again?"

"Why exactly would I do that?"

"Because..." mumbled Karl

"Karl."

"Because I know you two have played other games together before and I just want him to feel comfortable."

"We're not that close, you know?"

"You've played Among Us with him before..."

"Yeah and we never spoke afterwards."

"It's not too late to start"

"I doubt that he even likes me."

"He does... probably."

"Karl! Ugh, okay but i have a bit of a feeling he doesn't. Those Among Us lobbies got intense sometimes..."

"Don't worry, he doesn't take Among Us seriously."

"Mhm."

"So, you'll play with us?"

"Thanks! You're the best! Also Quackity and the others might pop in."

"Why didn't you say that in the beginning!"

"On it boss." said Mei, the last word slipping out of her mouth swiftly.

"Boss?"

"Yeah, you know boss baby?"

"Switching calls! I'll send you the text when." spoke Karl as he left the discord call. Mei laughed at the panic evident in his tone before switching over to the discord call Corpse and Karl were in. She wasn't going to join just yet she had to make her grand entrance.

Mei pulled up Karl's stream to watch the two talk. Hearing their voices were comforting to Mei. The way their voices bounced off of each other was like a lullaby to her. She logged onto the minecraft server where she found Quackity, Nihachu, Eret, Ranboo, Awsamdude, Sapnap and George online. Along with Karl of course, followed by Corpse.
