I leaned it
It sounded like a candle lit, flickering its last light
Shyly bold
I heard it again
And it sounded like breaths from a horror scene scared and hungry to keep burning
I listened carefully and it sounded young much like our sun
The gnawing pain behind each inhale reeked like a steam train desperately yearning for help
I looked deep and found the culprit
Green, grim and lost
I reached down and picked it up
Our eyes locked
She curled her hand around my index finger
It felt majestic, magical really
A smile graced her tiny face
I found love
Hope
Whats this adorable little angel doing in hell I thought as she greedily reached for my breast
