34. My Surprise

Aurora POV~~~

"Mommy.. wake up mommy" Grey shakes me lightly trying to wake me up. I groan rubbing my eyes. How did I fall asleep here. In the couch, in the living room?

"Mommy where's daddy?" The first thing he ask me is his dad.

"Morning my baby" I kiss his cheeks feeling a heavy pounding on my head.  My neck was stiff giving me a stinging pain.

"Morning Mommy where's daddy?" He kiss me back. Pouting not finding his dad.

"Grey baby. Daddy needs to leave but he promise he'll be back later for you and he's sorry that he's not here when you wake up" I stroke his messy hair. How attach did he got with his dad within just the past days. 

"Let's wash up hmm and I'll prepare your favourite choco breakfast with nutella pancakes mmh?" He nod rubbing his eyes.

"Let's go. Mommy will give you a nice rose bubble bathe" I pick him up in my arms walking towards his room.

After bathing him and drying his hair I dress him up in his small red jacket with a fresh T shirt. Then his half long pant. Since it is a Saturday there is no class for him. Which means he would spend the day with me in the bakery cafe. Everyone adores him.

After dressing him up and giving him his breakfast then playing his favourite cartoon show I went to dress up.

Wearing a blue long sleeve shirt showing a little cleavage but not over exposed, tucking in along with a peach colour long skirt. Feeling comfortable and satisfied I leave my hair open. Picking my bag putting in my purse, phone, essential cream and tissue. I walk out ready to leave.

"Grey baby are you done? Did you finish everything?" I ask him.

"Yes mommy all clear" he salute showing me his empty plate and juice. So obedient, so cute. My son.

"That's a very good boy. Ready to go? Your Aunt Anna misses you a lot. Shall we surprise her" I pick up his backpack which contain a small aid box, his snack and a pocket pack tissue.

"Ok mommy. I miss aunt Anna too" he smile jumping down from his seat. Holding my hand.

As we get ready to walk out the door bell rang. I'm not expecting anyone. Delivery? I don't remember ordering anything.

Alan said he will be back later. Did he change his mind?

"Baby wait here. I'll go check the door hmm?" He nod sitting down on the couch.

I don't know who might be at the door. Leaving him in the living room is a better choice.

The door bell rang continuously making me frown. Whomever is at the door seems impatient. I hurriedly walks towards the door opening it with a frown. Getting annoying. Only to stood there frozen. No words coming out of my mouth. My body went stiff then tense.

Why? No how is he here ?

This was not how I envision to meet him. I'm not ready.. but I miss him terribly. My eyes tear up as I stood there completely frozen. My mind could not rack out any words.

"Nicholas?" I whisper softly too stunned to believe he's standing right in front of me. My brother whom I've miss daily but fear to face him is standing here infront of my apartment, on my doorstep. After five long years.
