Just some time skipped fiance IwaOi for the soul!

Oikawa was usually very good at picking up 'hints'. Flirty hints, shy hints, sexual hints - he could read the signs.

However, his time in Argentina had definitely changed the signs he saw.

No one flirted with him the way he was used to - there weren't any gifts, there weren't any respectful bows. It was mostly just sexual innuendos and buying him drinks as fast as they could. Certainly not the hints he was used to. That was why, when he flew back to Japan for the Olympics, he did not realise that this presenter was actually flirting with him, in front of not just his team but the Japanese team too.

"So, you are the starting setter, huh?" The presenter asked, giving him a polite and friendly smile.

Oikawa smiled back, with the same charm and warmness as the presenter. "I am, actually."

"Your team must be amazing, then."

Behind him, the Argentinian team exchanged brief glances with the Japanese team - they had all figured it out and they didn't know what else to do except watch Oikawa be incredibly oblivious. If it were anyone else, they'd probably be quietly laughing. However, the two teams knew something vital that this presenter apparently didn't - Oikawa Tooru was engaged and his fiance would certainly not want to share his astonishingly pretty future husband.

"I'd say we are," Oikawa replied, shooting a proud smile back to his team, who only managed to sigh in response. It made Oikawa frown a little in confusion - didn't they want him to brag about how strong they were? Was he supposed to say more? "After all, we're not going down without a fight this year."

The presenter kept smiling at him. "I can believe so. Will you be doing your best, then, in this upcoming final?"

Oikawa nodded. "Always."

"Hey, Oikawa!" One of his teammates called out in Spanish, catching his attention. "We've got to get going! Coach'll be pissed if we spend too long in one place!"

"One second, please!" Oikawa answered, also speaking in Spanish, adding a bit of an apologetic bow as he spoke. "It'll only take a minute!"

The presenter laughed a little. "I guess you're in a rush, hmm? Perhaps we can talk before the match?"

Oikawa thought briefly over his schedule before the match, humming a little as he did so - a habit he had gotten into. "Probably. Maybe before the warm-up drills... I could see you then."

Atsumu nudged Sakusa and whispered, "Where's Iwaizumi? Do you think Oikawa's doing this on purpose?"

"I don't think Oikawa even knows what's going on," Sakusa whispered back. "And Iwaizumi-san is talking to some broadcasters. I doubt he'll be back until the Argentinian game, to watch Oikawa."

"Who's gonna tell him?" Atsumu asked. The two looked at each other, slowly turning their gaze over to Ushijima simultaneously. "Of course," Atsumu said.

"Wakatoshi-kun would just announce it without any hesitation," Sakusa muttered lowly.

Atsumu shrugged. "Better than Bokkun doing it."

Iwaizumi knew something was up the moment he approached his team after he stopped talking to the broadcasters. They all kept glancing at him nervously, before purposely looking away when he made eye contact. They kept staring at the ground when he spoke to them and had hurried conversations in hushed whispers.

The trainer sighed. "Ushiwaka!" He called, hearing the teams' murmuring silence.

The spiker looked up, a neutral but prepared expression on his face. "Yes, Iwaizumi?"

"What's happened that I don't know about?"

The team glanced between Iwaizumi and Ushijima expectantly.

Ushijima tilted his head slightly. "A presenter was flirting with Oikawa. He's going to talk to him again before the Argentinian team's warm-ups for their next match."

There was total utter silence and, most terrifyingly, Iwaizumi only raised a curious eyebrow. "A presenter was flirting with Oikawa?" He echoed lightly.

Atsumu leaned into Sakusa. "Bet ten-thousand yen Iwaizumi will say, 'How interesting'."

"Done," Sakusa hissed back.

Iwaizumi calmly placed his hands on his hips, narrowing his eyes slightly at Ushijima. "How interesting..."

"Shit," Sakusa muttered to no one in particular.

"And what did the lovely Oikawa say to this presenter?" Iwaizumi asked.

Ushijima thought back to the conversation. "I believe he thought the presenter wanted to interview him. He seemed unaware of the advances being made on him."

"How interesting..."

"Double shit," Sakusa cursed again, making Atsumu have to stifle a small giggle.

Iwaizumi crossed his arms, a venomous scowl slowly forming on his face and his eyes burning with jealousy already. "I think it'd be a nice break to watch the next match, what do you think, boys?"

Hinata raised his hand.

Iwaizumi glanced at him, sighed and then gestured for him to speak.

"Can we place a bet on whether you're gonna punch the presenter or not?"

"...No. You're not allowed to place a bet on that."

Sakusa leaned towards Atsumu. "I bet ten-thousand yen he won't punch him."

"Done," Atsumu whispered back.

"Oikawa-san!"

Oikawa turned around and smiled at the presenter, who was coming up to him with a phone in hand. He didn't spot a camera crew behind him but they were probably just setting up somewhere.

"Hello," He said, bowing politely. "It is good to see you again."

The presenter beamed at him. "Likewise. Anyway, I wanted to talk to you again because I-"

"Tooru, baby!" Iwaizumi walked over purposely, letting his engagement ring catch the stadium lights. He planted a kiss on his fiances' cheek, keeping his eyes locked firmly on the presenter as he did so. He pulled back, having Oikawa's full attention. "I just thought I'd ask what you'd want for dinner tonight? If you do well in today's match, I'm sure we can snack on some milkbread for a bit together, on our couch."

The presenter quietly and nervously began to back up but, for Iwaizumi, he wasn't moving fast enough. So, as Oikawa opened his mouth to answer, Iwaizumi quickly kissed him, letting it linger for longer than nescecary. By the time he had finished, the presenter had long since run off and left the fiances alone.

"Well, Haji-chan, if I can get more kisses, I'll make sure we win the game!" Oikawa promised, blinking in pleasant surprise. "That was startlingly forward of you."

"Well, I'm allowed to be forward with my fiance, aren't I? Especially when he's spent so long far away from me," Bluffed Iwaizumi, shrugging indifferently.

Oikawa's surprise faded away to be replace with happiness and he beamed at Iwaizumi, almost glowing with delight at the affection. "I hope you don't stop, then. Anyways, as you were-" He turned back to there the presenter was supposed to have been, only to see no one there. The setter frowned. "Where did he-?"

Iwaizumi loudly cleared his throat, interrupting his fiance. "Who cares," He said, before kissing Oikawa again. "Do your best today, Tooru. I'll let you start your warm-ups now."

"Thanks, Haji-chan!" Oikawa pressed a chaste kiss on Iwaizumi's forehead. "I'll see you after the match!" He added, before rushing over to his team, in an unphasable good mood.

In the distance, Atsumu scowled. "Shit," He cursed and Sakusa grinned.
