o Atsumu definitely ends up drunk-calling Sakusa while he's at parties and constantly embarrasses himself by complimenting Sakusa aggressively, while not even knowing he's calling Sakusa.
o Sakusa often takes things Atsumu says seriously, like assuming that when Atsumu says he likes toast it means he wants to eat it every morning. He does this out of love but Atsumu often has to (gently) remind him that he doesn't mean everything so literally.
o Under the headcanon that Sakusa is somewhere on the asexual spectrum, he doesn't get celebrity crushes, whereas Atsumu falls for literally anyone pretty (like Oikawa, Sakusa or Akaashi). This leads to many awkward conversations where Atsumu's promising that just because he has nearly the entirety of Oikawa's Instagram photos saved doesn't mean he loves Oikawa as much as Sakusa and that Sakusa is still his favourite, while Sakusa's trying to pretend he isn't immensely jealous.
o Atsumu loves dates at an amusement park and cinema dates.
o Sakusa really likes to go out to dinner or spend a quiet evening at home over more adventurous dates.
o Atsumu definitely would ramble to Osamu about Sakusa, but he would only refer to him as 'that guy I talk about' or 'the boy', because he wouldn't trust Osamu to know his actual name.
o Sakusa would talk about his crush online, so he didn't have to deal with the trouble someone he knows in real life using it as blackmail.
o If we follow on from that last headcanon, Sakusa and Atsumu have met each other before in an online forum and tried to give each other dating advice. They still don't know that their boyfriend is the guy they go to for dating advice.
o They like going on holiday to Europe together. They try to visit a new country every time (nothing wrong with revisiting their favourites, though) and, currently, the next on their list is Belgium - for the chocolate, mostly.
o Sakusa likes buying Atsumu random gifts. New clothes, now volleyball shoes, something strange he saw in a shop window. He doesn't particularly know why but it makes Atsumu happy.
o Atsumu is the one relative who tries to perform magic tricks every New Year's Eve but he's always drunk so it doesn't go well and Sakusa takes him home immediately after the count down.
