"Baby, come lie here with me, please?" Heeseung voice emerged from my bedroom and I couldn't help but blush from his words.

This man really knows how to get through me.

"You know, you are making our house like your dorm now, what the hell?" I said as I carried a bowl of nachos to my room and sat on the bed as I watched a series on my television.

Heeseung laughed and took a nachos from the bowl, "I don't think the guys would mind."

"How're your parents, by the way." He asked after a long period of comfortable silence.

I chuckled as I remembered a previous call with them, "Enjoying their retirement. You know how much my parents loved going on vacations."

"What about you? I heard your co-worker's back." He said as he glanced carefully at me. I looked at him weirdly before answering.

"He is and it is such a relief." I sighed. As K finally finished his long vacation, I finally had someone to divide the workload with, and trust me, it felt amazing.

Heeseung coughed before speaking again, now only looking straight at the television, "You seem happy that he's back. I'm guessing you guys are close?"

"I mean, we're the only two hosts there so, yeah, you can say we're close." I continued, "plus, just not having him in the studio was such a mess."

After I ranted, he spoke again, "I heard from Yeonjun that your parents liked having him around."

"K? Yeah, they definitely did. I mean they even treated him like their child than me and Jun." I laughed remembering how much they adored K. He was such a gentleman and with him being Japanese, they loved him even more.

He scoffed and looked annoyed so I decided to tease him, "Why? Are you jealous?"

"I am, actually."

I looked at him shocked with his direct confession, "What? Heeseung..."

"I can't help it, Haneul. It's like he's been there for you ever since you started achieving your dreams when that should've been me if only I didn't mess up." He ranted clearly feeling aggravated, "I feel so stupid."

"You aren't, baby. I'm here with you now, aren't I?"

Heeseung became quiet. I looked at him and his eyes were fixated on the television. I could see him biting the insides of his cheeks so I got worried.

"Hey, is everything alright?" I was careful. My voice was almost inaudible in its softness.

"Yeah, why wouldn't it be?" His voice was cold and it definitely sent shivers down my spine. The looming fear emerged again.

I looked at him and spoke cautiously, "Are you mad at me?"

My voice shivered way too much that I wanted it to. He looked at me and saw how disturbed and worried I was and his features immediately softened.

"No. Oh, no, baby." He pulled me into his arms as he whispered his apologies.

After a while, he moved away, "I could never be mad at you, alright?"

I nodded at him not knowing what to do. His face was close to mine and I could feel his breath on my skin. His eyes suddenly dropped on my lips.

I followed his gaze and as he moved forward, so did I.

And soon enough I felt his warm lips collide with mine. His kisses were soft, almost careful to make the wrong move.

But at the same time, it was filled with passion, I could feel his love for me and that made my heart swell.
