Crystals POV:

I woke up feeling as if I had been ran over by a semi. My head felt as if thousands of tiny hammers were trying to break my skull and a burning sensation settled in my shoulder when I tried to move. Soon I felt hands on me and felt a cold wash cloth against my forehead. I sighed and slowly opened my eyes, getting momentarily blinded until my eyes settled on Ethan's face, then clays.

"You're awake." Ethan said with a grin and my heart skipped a beat. "How do you feel?"

"Like I was hit my a semi." I whispered hoarsely and hated how rough my voice sounded. Ethan walked away for a second than came back and held a straw to my lips and I took a long sip of water and sighed as it soothes my throat. "What happened?"

"Do you remember anything from the race?" Clay asked and came closer and sat on the edge of my bed.

"I remember getting slammed into and crashing. Then I remember someone saying I should have kept my mouth shut right before I was shot. I felt the pain and then my mind kinda went blank. But I heard your voice Ethan. You wanted me to open my eyes. You said you needed me." I said and carefully tried to sit up more, and Ethan helped me and propped pillows behind my back. My arm was in a sling and I felt the bandages around my shoulder and chest.

"So you remember everything?" Ethan asked and I nodded slightly then groaned in pain. "Your forehead has stitches."

"That's why my head is killing me." I muttered and relaxed back. "When can I go home?"

"You owe me ten bucks, Ethan." Clay said and I shot him a confused look. "I bet your boyfriend ten bucks that shortly after you woke up you would asking when you can go home."

Ethan pulled out his wallet and handed him ten dollars then sat down on the edge of the bed next to me and tucked a stray hair behind my ear. I blushed and tried to look away but when he cupped my face in his hands and stared me in the eyes I felt frozen. His hands were so warm.

"I thought I lost you." He said before softly kissing my lips. I closed my eyes and moved my lips against his until a cough made us brake apart with an awkward chuckle.

Clay blushed and tried to avoid looking at us. "The last thing I wanted to see was my twin sister locking lips with her boyfriend." He said with a fake shiver.

"Oh shut up." Ethan said with a glare at my brother and I couldn't help but giggle. "I missed that sound."

"Hey! She's my sister!" Clay said and grabbed my hand and stroked my knuckles with his thumb.

"She's my girlfriend." Ethan said and I started laughing, which hurt my ribs.

I groaned just as a doctor came in and stared at us. Then Ethan shoved clay and clay fell off the bed with a grunt. Ethan laughed and got up and sat down in the chair next to me as the doctor walked towards me with a chuckle.

"How are you feeling ms. Love?" He asked as he placed his hand on my shoulder.

"I'm fine. Just a little sore. I want to go home." I said and looked up at him. He was older but had hat fatherly vibe.

"We can discharge you today. All your tests came back good. You will be sore for a while and you can't lift anything heavy. You will need to stay with someone, you can't live alone. Your boyfriend here said you can live with him until you're better." The doctor said and I couldn't help but blush. "The bandages will need to be changed every 6 hours or unless you start bleeding. But please, stay in bed as much as you can, or lay on the couch."

I nodded my head and he patted my shoulder lightly and left. Shortly after a nurse came in with paperwork and had me sign her page on the clipboard and handed me the packet. She stated that there were a few prescriptions that I needed. She left and clay got up and walked out of the room, leaving me and Ethan alone.

"I need to get dressed." I whispered and stared at the bedding. Ethan gently put his hand under my chin and tilted my head up.

"Can I help you or do you want me to leave?" He asked and I saw the look in his eyes. The love. Wait, love? No. That can't be. "Your arm is in a sling. So I'll have to undo it and carefully put a shirt on you. Sorry but you can't wear a bra right now."

"Can I wear one of your shirts?" I asked and saw him smile.

"I brought one for you. Along with a pair of your yoga pants. Please don't be mad, your stuff is already at my house." He said shyly and glanced away.

"Why?" Was all I asked as I carefully stood up.

"Because the doctor said you can't live alone while you heal. You can't lift anything or you'll tear the stitches in your shoulder and possibly the muscle. He said you need to rest for at least six weeks and you need to drop your classes." Ethan said as he got up and came over and helped me get the sling off. Then he helped pull the gown off and helped me into my yoga pants and his shirt. After my clothes were on the put my arm back in the sling and slipped slippers onto my feet.

I smiled at how sweet he is and then got up carefully and clenched my teeth at the feeling of my skin tugging at my shoulder. Once these damned stitches were out id be so much happier.

"Can we leave?" I asked as I looked up at Ethan.

"Yes, let's go home." He said and looped an arm around my waist.
