Method Man ft Mary J Blige You're All I Need Lyrics

Chorus

You're all, I need
(Lie together, cry together, I swear to God I hope we live and die together)
to get by, ahhhhh
You're all, I need
(Lie together, cry together, I swear to God I hope we live and die together)
to get by, ahhhhh

[Verse One:]

Shorty I'm there for you anytime you need me
For real girl, it's me in your world, believe me
Nuttin make a man feel better than a woman
Queen with a crown that be down for whatever
There are few things that's forever, my lady
We can make war or make babies
Back when I was nothin
You made a brother feel like he was somethin
That's why I'm with you to this day boo no frontin
Even when the skies were gray
You would rub me on my back and say "Baby it'll be okay"
Now that's real to a brother like me baby
Never ever give my cootie away and keep it tight aight
And I'ma walk these dogs so we can live
In a beautiful crib with thousands of kids
Word life you don't need a ring to be my wife
Just be there for me and I'ma make sure we
Be livin in the effin lap of luxury
I'm realizing that you didn't have to funk wit me
But you did, now I'm going all out kid
And I got mad love to give

Mariah woke up her head pounding and her back sore. She saw one of Cornell's henchmen standing over her staring at her. He wore his trademark sunglasses and Mariah realized this was the one called Shades. Mariah struggled to get out of the makeshift cot she was lying in.

"Where am I?" Mariah asked

"A safe house that an old friend who owes me is allowing me to use temporarily. We're on the border of Harlem and Hell's Kitchen/Lothal. Building doesn't have any Imperial patrols because my friend dressed it up to make it look like it was condemned." Shades answered

"So what do you want with me? Am I your hostage? You think Cornell is going to give away Harlem's Paradise to save me because that ain't gonna happen. As far as I'm concerned that bridge has been burnt."

"Do you remember me? From when I was a kid?" Shades asked

"No. Are you one of those guys that used to follow Cornell around like a puppy?" Mariah replied

"Hmm not exactly. You see I didn't have nothing. I was born in Spanish Harlem but quickly ended up in Downtown Harlem. I grew up roaming the streets trying to survive. Different gangs under different names fighting for scraps. I was in one of those gangs but the one name that always rang out despite all the gangs fighting each other was "Stokes." That name made every other gang in Harlem bow to one knee in submission. You wanna know why? Because Mama Mabel got things done.

You needed a Thanksgiving turkey? "Go see Mama Mabel Stokes." School clothes? "Mama Mabel Stokes." Your old man put his hands on you? "See Mama Mabel Stokes and it would never, ever happen again."

"What's your point?" Mariah asked annoyed

"Your family name meant something! Harlem's Paradise meant something! Everyone from politicians like Sheev Palpatine to Jedi like Anakin Skywalker to celebrities like Michael Jackson and Carmelo Anthony showed that woman love. But what does that family represent now? A washed-up wannabe gangster? An empty politician who can't even get a phone call from an Imperial Governor. A Governor that doesn't have a great reputation let alone has actual power."

Furious, Mariah tried to hit Shades, but he caught her hand and locked it in a vice grip.

"You don't talk to me like that." Mariah threatened
