As I drove Cody and Rachel to my house after school finally ended, I couldn't help but wonder how Cameron was going to get there. I mean I didn't give him my address; he doesn't even have my number yet. That's probably for the best though, getting attached isn't really on my agenda.

"You invited Cameron to join us?" Cody asked suddenly as I turned into the neighborhood.

When I glanced over at them, I couldn't read their expressions. Cody didn't look mad or anything, it was just a simple question. One that I didn't really want to admit to.

"Yes," I winced as the word forced its way from my mouth.

Rachel shut off the radio and I could feel her gaze burning into the side of my head. I focused on everything but the two people in my car. My neighborhood was beautiful, with every house landscaped and perfectly shaped trees along the road. I had to slow down when we turned a corner because some kids were playing around in the streets. I'll be seeing them more often come summer time since their parents will be working. As horrible as babysitting over the summer sounds, I don't think it's that big a deal. I mean I'll just have more money in my pocket that I can go shopping with, or see movies with.

"He doesn't know where you live," Cody continued. "Should I tell him or-"

"No!" Rachel and I both shouted at him in unison.

He put up his hands in surrender and Rachel attempted to confiscate his cell phone but he wouldn't hand it over.

"How do you expect him to show up if he doesn't even know where to go? It's not like he won't find out where you live once he gets here anyway, unless you blind fold him."

I sighed grumpily as I tried to think of a way for him to get here.

"Cody can I trust you not to wreck my car?" I asked him.

"Yes," he smirked.

"He hesitated, that means no," Rachel argued against it.

Well now I'm down to two choices, I can either let Cody go pick up Cameron or bring him over, or I can go get him and leave Cody and Rachel at my house. They'd probably destroy the place in an attempt to murder each other. Rachel isn't very accepting of the way he treats girls and ever since he completed his last bet, she has begun to hate him.

"Where is he now?" I asked Cody.

"He's at home; he doesn't live that far away. Maybe about ten minutes tops," he guessed.

I just had to bring it up to him that I was hanging out with Cody and Rachel after school. If the words never left my mind, I wouldn't be in this mess.

"You can go get him once we get to my house," I finally decided.

Once I had pulled into the driveway and gathered my things, I watched Cody drive off in my precious car. My parents bought me it after months of convincing. Rachel and I are on the school's golden girl's team and have practices all the time. Since my mom and her mom work together, they both work until the wee hours of the night. My dad is in Tennessee for some job thing, and Rachel's parents are divorced.

"It won't come back in one piece," Rachel whispered in my ear.

I glared at her and she laughed.

"Let's go," I sighed as we headed in.

As soon as we reached my room, where we usually do our studying, I went into cleaning mode. The first guy to take me on a date in a year and a few months was coming over and even though the house wasn't a total junk yard, it wasn't acceptable for company.
